This panini maker has been a great addition for my kitchen. I was using just a pan before for making grilled sandwiches and other similar foods. This has really stepped up my cooking game. This can be used as a contact grill, grill cheese sandwich maker, full grill, full griddle, or half grill/half griddle so I can use it for cooking different foods. The lid moves 180° so it's easy using with one hand operation. This grill comes with smart meat thermometer that the probes can be set so when the food reached the temperature, it will beep to remind me about the food. The grill plates are non-stick coated and removable and they are safe to put in the dishwasher so cleaning is easy. The button and knob controls are easy to use and the LCD display shows the temperature and time. The foldable bracket it comes with allows the grease to flow faster into the drip tray. After years of owning Foreman grills without removable plates, we thought we'd give something else a try. This is a substantial unit and feels very solid. The plates are easy to remove and wash, and it's totally cool that you can open this grill flat and have one side smooth (for eggs) and the other rippled (for bacon). My two complaints are that the edges of the grill get very, very hot and if you accidentally touch the grill when you're grabbing the handle you're going to get burned. The other is that the sensor piece that you push into meat and then into the unit doesn't make a great connection and so you have to keep jiggling it when you're cooking to get the temperature. The controls are not intuitive, so don't lose the instruction booklet. ... show more

Love and recommend this Cattleman indoor grill! Not only does it finish searing steaks and making waffles, but it also makes paninis and my favorite sandwiches. The stripes on the grill make my sandwiches look so delicious and flavorful, and they actually come out delicious. I ordered one grill and it lasted about six months before it would no longer turn on. I contacted the seller and they replaced the grill. The second grill lasted about five months before it also would no longer turn on. I had high hopes for this grill but I’m disappointed. I would NOT recommend.

Wasn’t familiar with this brand and with so many panini makers to choose from I took a chance on this one. Hit the mother lode here— it’s GREAT! Takes a bit to preheat, but works flawlessly.     • An Effective Grill, Griddle, And Sandwich Maker
The Cattleman Cuisine griddle was ordered to replace another similar type grill / griddle. I must admit that this is a versatile grill / griddle. This is one of those accessories that I wish we had when we first got married many years ago. There are so many different ways to cook on this grill. One of the features that I really like is the that the top can be set at different angles so that it can be directly pressed to the entire sandwich such as a panini or angled for varied sizes of meats / sandwiches.. There are a max of 2 different cooking areas on the top and on the bottom which can be used together or independently. But, each cooking surface is large enough to cook 2 or more separate foods. The LCD display shows the temperatures on the each of the cooking surfaces and the desired temperature & time. Another feature that I like is that there is a smart, instant read, temperature probe for checking the doneness of the meat being cooked. All of the grill plates are non-stick which my spouse likes and demands in just about any type of cooking surface. In addition, they were easy to clean since they are removable for cleaning in our dishwasher. The same holds true with the drip tray. It is removable & easily washable. BOTTOM LINE: This is one nicely made, versatile grill & griddle. It can cook 5 different ways, and the grill plates are removable & easily cleaned. With the ability to cook steaks, another means of cooking pork & beef. However, I would note that we did not achieve good grill marks on the steaks. If you need to have diagonal grill marks, then one may need to put on a charcoal or gas grill first. For me, it is not that big of a deal breaker.
