A lot of reviews mention it’s hard to put together. Follow the instructions and do not tighten any of the bolts all the way until you’ve got them all lined up as there is about quarter inch tolerance to line everything up, then tighten all the bolts. Metal is pretty thin so I’m curious how long before it craps out. But It looks really nice when new and put together. ... show more

Assembly is the only issue I have. Things were marked incorrectly so it took a few minutes to orient everything properly. It's lightweight so after assembly it was easy to move where I wanted it. Great for simple 2 maybe 3 log backyard fires. Kids love making Smore's, wife enjoys the mosquito repellant, and I enjoy having a beer and gazing into the depths of the flames as if they're calling to me, wanting me to help them become something more, something bright. But overall I'd say 9/10 for a firepit. Would be a 10 if it came with its own weather cover. ... show more

The holes didn't quite line up as it should. At some points it took 2 of us to get the holes in line. The holes wasn't way off just a little. Wish there was drain hole for the rain at the bottom. Nice and big.

We had to send this back. The screw holes were too big and wouldn’t hold anything together and the screw holes didn’t align between all the parts. Between two of us very capable of putting things together, we couldn’t make it work no matter how hard we tried
