Really fantastic firepit, very happy with it overall! It will still give off some smoke (not sure why some people were expecting *zero* smoke, you are still burning wood after all) but compared to a standard firepit or a camp fire, this gives off much less smoke, with windless/low wind conditions allowing for a 90% smoke reduction. No need to shower after using it! One item I will highly recommend is that people spring for the heat deflector. The solo stove burns the wood so efficiently, all the heat literally shoots straight up, with a lot less heat going to the people around the campfire as a result. The heat deflector forces the heat to radiate onto the people sitting around it, keeping everyone much warmer as a result. You can get by with a much smaller fire this way, and as a result burn a lot less wood. The fire pit (and the heat deflector) are a bit on the pricey side, so here is to hoping that the added cost is going into solid construction that will last a long time. I plan on using it all 4 seasons, for as long as it stays in one piece. ... show more

This is our second solo stove! I had a smaller one for the table top which works great for s’mores and stuff but this larger one for the patio is amazing. Distributes the heat evenly and stays clean. I love the new colors. also we purchased the gun metal.

Big but light! Love that it has a bag to take it places. Great addition to our outdoor space. Very low smoke with firewood just laying around the yard. Much better than a regular firepit. Flame feels much more controlled, which makes us feel safer.

The media could not be loaded. The Solo Stove Bonfire is really, really good. It works exactly as advertised – smokeless, efficient, and a joy to use. The design is sleek, and the flames burn beautifully, making it perfect for backyard gatherings or camping trips. The only reason I’m giving this a slight pause is that it seemed like I might have received a slightly used product. However, this didn’t impact its performance at all, and everything else was great. Love our solo stove. We don’t have enough yard space for a fire pit so this is a great option and it even travels well. Don’t over fill with wood or it will smoke up but other than that works great

While it’s not 100% smokeless especially when getting the fire started but once it is going it’s very impressive at how there is basically no smoke and it keeps the fire vary hot keeping a fire going has never been easier
