This safe is a good buy for the price, looks nice and does what's it's supposed to. The only thing I would recommend is taping the opening instructions to the outside instead of leaving them inside the safe and needing to figure out how to open the locked door.

The old saying goes, "you get what you pay for" and it applies to this product. As another reviewer stated, it's more of a gun storage than a safe and I agree. If someone wanted it bad enough, they could figure a way to get into it. It stores my 3 hanguns and 3 rifles with plenty of shelf space for extras like holsters, clips, etc. I do have some bullets in the shelves for quick loading, but I store all my other bullets elsewhere. Other reviews have said and showed pictures of damage to the safe. Not saying it wasn't bad quality control, but shippers and delivery people aren't the most gentle handlers sometimes. Mine arrived 3 days ahead of schedule and was packaged in some pretty strong cardbord with no damage at all. I did notice a lot of dust on the box like must have been sitting in warehouse for some time. The only complaint I have is, the instructions for programming the keycode was a litle confusing, but I figured it out. If you want a cabinet to just store your firearms, this will do the job. However, if you want something more secure, look elsewhere. Think about this, if the keycode doesn't work or you loose the keys, the metal isn't so thick you can't break/saw into somehow. My final verdict is, I'm happy with it and it does what I wanted a gun cabinet for. ... show more

First of all, let me just say that this safe requires mounting. Either floor mounting, or wall mounting (as pictured). If not, it will fall over when opening the top heavy door. It comes with floor mounting hardware that is easy to install provided you have a concrete bit. For the price, I think this is a great value. We had a small problem with the magnetic lock which required us to use the key instead. The manufacturer immediately sent out a replacement safe at no charge. I Recommend this safe for anyone who needs it to protect your kids from accessing your firearms. It’s pretty lightweight metal, so probably not suitable for anything beyond that. The media could not be loaded. I was deeply disappointed with a safe I purchased on Amazon. This safe was advertised as being of high quality and fully functional, yet after I purchased it and used it, I found it to be plagued with problems. First, let me describe the basics of this safe. According to the product description, this safe has excellent anti-theft properties and offers a convenient control experience. However, these advantages do not hold true in my opinion. When it comes to the experience, the appearance and structural design of this safe is okay, but the materials and durability are worrisome. Within a few days of my use, the top of the safe developed a severe separation. When I first purchased this safe, I chose it for its top separation design, thinking that it would be easier to access items. However, reality has shown me that this design is immature and poses a serious security risk to the product. When it comes to the merits of the product, I think most of its features are still basically normal. However, as a product that sells itself on its safety features, it clearly has a number of shortcomings. The most obvious one is the top separation issue, which undoubtedly poses a huge risk to the safety of the safe. In addition, there are also problems with the product's locking design, which is not smooth enough and sometimes even fails to close properly. I think the existence of these problems seriously affects the user experience of the product. Next, I would like to comment on the value for money aspect. As far as similar products are concerned, the price of this safe is not that low. However, considering its quality issues and the many inconveniences of using it, I think the value for money of this safe is very low. With many lower priced and better performing safes available in the market, I would not recommend buying or using this product. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience with this safe. I was deeply dissatisfied with its top separation issues, latch issues, and durability issues. While there are slight highlights in its appearance and some of its features, these do not cover up its flawed quality and lack of user experience. As a consumer, I strongly do not recommend purchasing or using this safe. If you need to buy a safe, I suggest you do more comparisons in the market and choose a more cost-effective product.     • Most rifles with optics will not fit as intended

I have 3 rifles with optics and the door will not close with them sitting in the way it was intended. 2 of them are smaller AR platforms that I can rotate 90 degrees and they'll rest against each other but there's no protection keeping them from scraping. The 3rd is a precision rifle with a much longer barrel and without removing the scope, it just can't fit. Build quality on the door is ok and heavy but the 3 other walls are paper thin. I'm using it as a deterrent for the kids which should be fine, but don't expect this to prevent someone who really wants to get in - or just carrying the whole safe out if you haven't mounted it to the wall. ... show more
