This mattress was purchased for our 3 year old son, so the fact that it's not very firm isn't a huge deal. But if you're expecting a firm mattress, this is not it. It's not even "medium firm", in my opinion. Very cushiony soft. I can't speak to the longevity of it yet. I love this mattress other than it being too short so I hate doing this but I am left with no choice. The bed is comfy but I should have gone with my guy and remembered you get what you pay for. The bed does weigh a lot, it’s not that firm, it’s honestly deflating almost on the side i sleep on the most. It’s been a month since i bought it and when i opened it didn’t take long to expand, in about 5 hours it was good to sleep on.
