These locks are actually constructed fairly well. I use them on my made storage boxes for my short term rentals. If someone had a wire cutter, they could probably break through, but if you’re looking for a small lock, that works well, this is it.

The most important thing to know about these locks is that the directions that come with the package don’t match the direction on the Amazon page. it’s missing a step, so for them to work use need to use the Amazon directions. That’s my reason for 4 star rating

I purchased these for the small ammo boxes, and they worked out perfect. It’s nice that you can select your own code. The only problem is you can see the numbers from both sides so you have to be aware of what side you are dialing the code into, and the numbers are very difficult to read.
