I used this lock for only a matter of a few months on my basement bulkhead. I would not consider it waterproof and do not recommend using it outside. It has rusted where the latch meets the combination barrel and the barrel is now difficult to turn. I wanted to get a refund but the refund window ended. If you're only using it inside I think it is a good lock- easy to use, etc., but it is advertised as being water proof and it definitely is not. ... show more

I was looking for a lock like this for cleaning cabinets that had double handles so I could look them. They work really well. I guess my only complaint is it is difficult to setup a custom combination.
