Everyone with trees towering over their HVAC units knows what a mess they can cause on and inside your system. This cover is the perfect solution. While it’s not totally impervious to everything that drops into your unit it can certainly stop the majority of it. The bungee retaining cords work great. The cover lays flat and works as advertised. I have a 34 x 32 ac unit. I got the 32 x 32 size and it fits perfect. The mesh seems durable and installed easy with the bungees provided. This seems like it will be very secure and protect my AC unit from the olive tree right over it while allowing the unit to operate. My only concern is how this attaches. The attachment point is a basically the same material as the sewn border or actually is the border. The mesh cover for my other ac unit has metal grommets which seems much more durable. But this is a good price and the sewn border seems thick, so this might last just as long or be as durable as grommets, time will tell. ... show more

I got this ECOOPTS brand 36"x36" Mesh Air Conditioner Cover to keep the pine needles and leaves out of the outdoor A/C and this looks like it will do the job. So far, it has been on the outdoor unit during a cold snap, heavy rain and heavy, gusting wind and has held up and done a great job keeping the leaves out. We'll have to monitor if it works as well on pine needles, but so far, it looks like it's living up to its claims. The material feels fairly strong and sturdy, as do the bungees that are included for installation. Since we live in the hot-and-humid South, time will tell how long this lasts, but so far it seems fine. The price at the time we ordered was $12.98, which we feel is a very fair price. In early spring our Live Oaks begin to shed their leaves and newly formed acorns which creates quite a mess. With my air conditioning units beneath two Live oaks, they are requiring another cleaning after only a month so, a solution was needed. This is the perfect solution. I chose the mesh cover over a solid cover since we seldom get snow n the winter and I thought perhaps with the mesh, I could maybe also use the air-conditioning with it on? I am not sure if the mesh will restrict the airflow, and affect the efficiency so, I will have to check with the company. However. for now, it will keep the leaves and acorns from filtering down into the air conditioning unit. The cover itself is very well made and weighing in at just around a pound, it appears to be very robustly constructed with a nice, corded seam along all edges and a relatively thick, and sturdy, mesh. Installation is extremely easy: simply attach the included bungee cords to the mesh and your air-conditioning unit and the top is protected from leaves and debris. Considering other options available I think for this price, it is an excellent product to use. ... show more

I am sure it would be good for something, but not the air conditioner. The bungie cord doesn't fit in the grill, and I am not going to damage it trying.

This is listed as an outdoor AC unit breathable cover and it does just that. It fit my unit no issues and covers the entire top. I'm not even the least bit worried about it coming off during bad weather; triple sewn edges and heavy duty bungee cords. This is going to save me tons on maintenance times for sure. ... show more
