First and foremost, do not use an electric screw gun or drill to put this together. The metal is thin. Even using a plain screwdriver and the power of this middle aged small female’s puny muscles and grip strength I was able to overtighten and warp the metal of the fire bowl when screwing on the legs. You can see the outline of the legs around the screws attaching them to the fire bowl in the one pic. That said, this went together easily. Just don’t tighten screws until you have everything assembled. And don’t panic if you don’t see the legs in the box. They are cleverly tucked into the back of the corner foam bracing for the bowl. I wanted an inexpensive table/occasionally used fire pit for our patio. It will not see heavy use it probably wouldn’t hold up to here. If you are looking for heavy duty for frequently hosting outdoor parties or something, maybe look elsewhere. If you want reasonably priced, decent sized and should last at least a few years, this one is great! ... show more

Who doesn’t love to sit in the backyard around a glowing fire? I know I certainly enjoy them, and I like it even more when the item containing my fire has versatility. Such is the case with this 36 Inch Fire Pit with Cooking Grill. What you get with this firepit is a medium- size pit, not too small or too large. It can be used for fires and nothing more, but it also comes with a cooking grill. You can heat up some hot dogs or other foods while you enjoy the fire, then share the food when it’s ready. It can’t take the place of a full- fledged grill, but it isn’t intended to. It’s intended to offer convenience, and that is what it does. Another feature I like with this firepit is that, when it’s not in use, you can attach the flat lid and now, it doubles as a table! You don’t usually see features like this with firepits. I love it because, while I may not always be inclined to light a fire, I am always in need of a place to sit my drink when I’m relaxing in my backyard. This is exactly the size I wanted! It is so unbelievably affordable rather than going to Walmart and spending a bunch of money or waiting for them to go on clearance. So this one looks fabulous I love it it's well put together instructions were very simple I like that it has a little topper we could Grill on it it puts out great Heat! So for the functionality of it I would say to be able to cook on it to just have a nice little fire to keep you warm outside it's great it has this little round table top around it so my little one tries to run up to it like before she hits the actual fire she'll probably hit this. But we're pretty good about keeping a good eye on her! But just to know that there's something else there rather than just a fire pit it's pretty safe ... show more

When my wife comments positively on something, it's got to be something substantial and appealing. i trust her visual assessment, and I can easily say this should last us 2-3+ years of solid occasional use. We only grill a handful of times a year, though I can definitely see some campfires coming up this winter, and I think that might be the best way to use this. I wouldn't consider the material thick enough metal to be able to survive a pounding or tons of high-flame cookouts, so with mild use I think it'll do just fine for as long as we need it. ... show more

I had a fire pit, but no bbq pit. I love that this is both! We don't grill much and didn't want to take up more space with something we would rarely use. This is great to add some grill marks to hotdogs or even roast some veggies. Easy to assemble. A nice size. Very happy with this!
