I love these! They are just the right size. You can use plastic grocery bags in them. Each of the 3 consists of the waste can, bag holder with secure ring that rests on the top of the waste can and the lid with the batteries (not included) that sets on top. The bag holder has a hole to push excess bag handle and tighten upon the ring. I just wish they had a 3 grey option. Sigh. Just make sure you have 6 double A (AA) batteries to start using them right away! ... show more

What a bargain. These trash cans are great, especially for bathrooms and bedrooms. They are small.They can accommodate a small plastic grocery store bag. They run on batteries and I haven't changed them in months.

They pop open at the slightest motion, which I discovered by putting them too close to the toilet. Batteries seem to last quite a while though, so the oversensitive opening doesn't drain them. For a really good laugh, let your robot vacuum trap itself in the bathroom with one of these. I'm not as worried about a Terminator machine uprising in the immediate future after watching those two go at it. ... show more

Bought set of 3: 3 months later one of the units failed and stopped opening automatically whenever it should despite resetting the system, cleaning the indicator, and so on. Buy these only if you're ok with at least a 1 of the 3 units failing at 3 months.
