After my initial review, DeerRun reached out and took full responsibility for the problems I was having with my treadmill. Even though I'm way outside the return/refund window! DeerRun has stepped up & done everything possible to make my experience better. Love a company with amazing customer support! ----- I purchased this treadmill at the end of September 2023. At first, it worked okay, though I noticed it did get warm (bordering on hot) if I used it for longer than 30 minutes. But now, halfway through December, using the folding bar is near-impossible due to the small electric shocks it can (& 100% will) zap me with if I dare touch it. The treadmill also gets blistering-hot if used for longer than 30 minutes now. Sadly, this treadmill won't be in my house for much longer. ... show more

This is a great walking pad if you are staying under 3.8mph and are going to walk for less than an hour. It was super easy to assemble, set up, and get going. It fits great under a desk- it is a bit loud so better if you don't use it while on calls. I bought it because it said it was for both walking and running but the motor overheats and shuts off abruptly. I walk/run on it for about 3 miles at a time (~60mins, 3.8-6.0mph) and it gets HOT. This is a great treadmill. Super easy to use, not a lot of bells and whistles, which I like. I just wanted a simple, easy to use treadmill that I could walk on everyday. It doesn’t take up too much space, and can easily be hidden away if we have company. The only thing I wish for (a very small thing) was that the remote had a pause feature. Instead, it stops the pad and erases your progress. Now for the customer support. Earlier this month, the motor of my treadmill gave out, so I contacted DeerRun support to see about getting a new one. Everyone on the team was super kind and very helpful with getting me my new machine. And it arrived extremely quickly, too! I highly recommend this company and their treadmills. ... show more

We love our new treadmill, it's light, sturdy, and a great fit in our bonus room. However I could see it not being suitable for taller people with a longer stride and maybe a cup holder for bottle water would be nice. I may try and retro fit something. Still for they money this is hard to beat.

    • Faulty Burning Rubber
Update: The company got back to me & sent a replacement & a prepaid return shipping label. Only time will tell if the new machine does the same thing or maybe it was just a faulty machine. After getting this set up & getting in a regular routine the machine started getting hot & smelling like burning rubber. It made the whole room smell like something was on fire. Finally it stopped mid stride & wouldn't turn back on. Contacted the company & they wanted a video if the issue. Seriously, a video if a smell! It quit working. They kept asking for a video. Finally they said they would like to offer a replacement but only after they received the machine back. What a disruption! I would not buy from this company! ... show more

Very easy set-up. I basically took it out of the box wheeled it over and plugged it in. The bar was already attached and I just had to turn to tighten it. I don’t think I tightened it enough but it did not fall down or anything. Just align the belt and put some lubricant as per the instruction and walking pad was all set to use. Its been more than a week and I am start liking the performance and quality of this walking pad. I use avg speed of 5.2 miles per hr for 40 min and it worka perfectly. I like the remote control feature along with pipat app integration which encourage you to be more engage with your daily routine as per given challenge and process. The only disadvantage I can see is that there no incline decline option but I think thats what walking pad does not mean for. I love this machine so far and I would keep posted if I will face any issue in future. ... show more
