Features

  • Add Motion Sensor to an Existing Light - Simply screw these light sensor adapters into any existing E26/E27 light sockets to auto-activate lighting in the basements, garages, pantry rooms, storage rooms, walk-in closets, stairs well, corridors, pantry, laundry rooms, attics, etc... No longer walking into a dark area and bumping into things.
  • Light as Soon as Door Opens - When the motion sensor light socket is mounted 8-10 feet above the floor and connected to any E26 / E27 bulbs (<60W) downward, the socket senses motion up to 10 feet away in any direction. It turns off automatically after your setting time if no IR movement is detected to help you save energy costs.
  • Adjustable Bulb Socket Adapter - The timing device can set the time (10 seconds- 5 mins) and LUX adjustable illumination (3-2000lux), you could set its status and working mode according to your needs.
  • No Wiring - The motion sensor socket automatically turns the light on when you enter and off when you exit the room and installs just like a light bulb. It will save you a lot of money over hiring an electrician to put in a light switch.
  • Buy with Confidence - We promise that all motion sensor light sockets could enjoy the 12-month hassle-free replacement. Regardless of any problems with your order, please feel free to contact us directly and we will get back to you within 24 hours.

  • Great Motion Detector But Not When There Is A Heat Source Near It
Number of Items: 1
This is a great motion detector. We used it in the basement. It worked well every where except one spot where the electric company placed a self meter reader that transfers meter info directly to the electric company. That little computer device was hot enough it seems to confuse the detector to not know a person is walking by because another heat source is there and constantly hot enough to not recognize another new heat source. So we ended up not using it at that spot. Otherwise, this motion detector worked fine. Easy to install by screwing it to the source and then add the light bulb to it. On the side, there is a knob to control how long the bulb should remain lit, but it is inaccurate. Minimum light time is a minute, but if you turn it slightly, the timer goes to 10 minutes even if you meant to change it to 2 minutes or just a few minutes. Not worth adjusting the timer as it can defeat the purpose as it can remain on for a long time after no one is there... even a half hour or more later. Other than the timer and heat sensitivity, this detector works well overall in a cool location without adjusting the timer. ... show more

  • Has worked reliably and consistently and a LOT cheaper than an electrician.
Number of Items: 1
My MB walk-in closet only had a cheap light bulb socket in the ceiling with an awkward string pull switch. I'd have to fumble for the string in the dark to turn on the light, which was annoying. With the new Alexa devices, I bought a smart bulb socket and connected it with Alexa. It worked fine and was easier than the string pull, but I'd have to tell Alexa to turn on the light in order to light the closet and then turn it off. Then I found this product. It screws into the light fixture the same as the bulb would or the smart socket, but requires no wifi connection because it's motion sensitive. It works great! I just open the door and the light turns on automatically as I enter the closet. The unit is adjustable to stay on from 10 to 60 seconds, according to your needs. Mine is set at 30 seconds, which is usually more than enough time for me to get what I want out of the closet. If I need more time, I just wave my arm in front of it after it goes off and it turns on again for another 30 seconds, but this is very infrequent for me. I think I've had it for about two years and it still works perfectly, so it seems to be very reliable and durable. It can use up to a 60 watt bulb, so it's plenty bright enough for my closet. I'm very happy with this product, and it saved me a lot of money over hiring an electrician to put in a light switch. I'd heartily recommend this product. ... show more

  • Cheapest piece of hardware I've dealt with in a long time
Number of Items: 1
Oh boy, where do I start? Positives: - It detects motion - It turns on the light Negatives: - Motion detection is slow and unreliable - Timing doesn't work linearly - Build quality - Build quality - Build quality - Instructions are basically useless - Build quality Ok, so super simple situation. Laundry room in a basement and stupid washer and dryer that have touch based, non illuminated power buttons. I actually had a smart bulb in this socket for a long time, but the automation side didn't really fit our needs and it wasn't great. I wanted to replace it with one of those garage lights that are ridiculously bright, but there's no smarts there. Enter this hunk'o'junk. Installation was easy, until it wasn't. How many people does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Ok, so I look at the instructions, useless. Pretty obvious, box says the time delay is "10sec - 5minutes", not the greatest. Let's try it out, I move the time dial to about half, so that should give me north of 2 minutes of light...wrong! Not only was it shorter, probably around a minute to 90 seconds, but it wasn't consistent. Sometimes I'd get 30 seconds, sometimes I'd get a little over a minute. The motion sensor is also really slow. Like, I get to the bottom of my stairs and have time to think "oh man, I think it's broken why hasn't it turned on" in my head, then it turns on. With the inconsistent, it shuts off while I'm actively moving around it. Continue moving, nothing. Continue moving, nothing. After 10-15 seconds, it turns back on. Now, check this out. There are 2 body sections to this unit and you can see that in the pictures. The dome PIR sensor is basically the dividing line. Above the sensor is one piece, below the sensor is another piece. Guess how they're connected. No, seriously, guess. They're TWIST LOCK. Guess how many times it split in 2 pieces. Every time. Who thought it was a good idea to design an intermediary for a light bulb with a twist lock body? No matter what, it's coming apart. Unbelievable that this was even part of the conversation in the design phase. It's such a stupid simple and cheap design, too. PIR sensor runs like $0.25 at retail, probably $0.10 wholesale. A simple switched circuit with a timer, the male E26/27 and the female E26/27, probably another $2 maybe at retail. The body is probably the most expensive part of the BOM and they botched it....BAD. Many other reviews say the same thing, unfortunately, there aren't a lot of options for this type of thing and sometimes people can be too picky. NOPE, those reviews are pretty generous looking back at them now. Needless to say, I'm returning this thing. Instead of an improvement, it's a massive detriment to the purpose it was bought for....or any purpose, really. ... show more

  • No more light switch to on/off in the garage anymore.
Number of Items: 1
Ever since my garage opener’s light sensor quit working, I needed an alternate light in the garage. So I found this light sensor that it can be installed easily to an existing light bulb socket to make it turn on/off automatically. The sensor covers quite well within 10 feet or so and also turns on when I drive my vehicle into the garage. It has adjustments as to how long it’ll stay on as well as how bright (lux) it can illuminate. Very happy to get this product without going out and spend money on installing expensive light fixtures. ... show more
