This kit is great. I have an 8” Celestron telescope with a big old corrector lens that’s exposed to outside air. Thus it needs periodic cleaning. I also have bunch of 1.5” eyepieces and filters that need to be crystal clear. This cleaning kit exceeded my expectations for cleaning these highly sensitive, chemically coated optics. The micro-fiber cloths are very high-quality, and this is of critical importance. One is a bit smaller and thinner, good for the small 1.5” eyepieces and filters, the other is bigger and beefier, perfect for the 8” lens. No micro-scratches, and it removes smudges with ease. The horse-hair brushes are great (one bigger, one smaller and retractable in a pen which has small sponges on the other side). The brush is super soft yet dense, effective in removing small hairs and dust particles. The hand-squeeze air blower is good-sized, fills up my relatively large palm. It moves lots of air at high velocity, which is a critical first step in cleaning, and also must be done periodically in the field while viewing if it’s windy, dusty, or there’s smoke/pollen in the air. It does the job very well, you can really get air moving fast with this thing. The smudge pen/sponge deal is good for those hard-to-clear smudges, and having two different shaped heads is a great bonus. The triangular head gets into hard-to-reach corners nicely. The cleaning solution is also great, leaves no streaks or residue, doesn’t evaporate too fast which can leave streaks/spots, and oils/smudges don’t stand a chance. I can say with confidence this little kit is perfect for touch-up cleaning and maintenance of astronomy equipment, and you won’t find more sensitive and demanding optical equipment than that. 5 stars all around, would recommend to anyone for cleaning telescopes, cameras, or other highly sensitive optical systems. ... show more

I was about to send in my mirrorless camera in for a sensor cleaning, because of stubborn shifting spots and I’m glad I decided to give this kit a shot! As long as you haven’t taken your camera to a rally or motorcross event, I think the kit comes with everything you need to safely clean both sensors and lenses. Glad I tried this first. Went to a butterfly park, made the blunder of removing the lens to clean the fog on the mirror (due to change in temperature), left with too many marks on the pictures. Lesson hard learnt - never try to clean anything by yourself inside the camera. First stop to look for a solution is Amazon and this kit comes first with rave reviews. Shipped fast and nicely packaged. Followed as per their youtube video instructions. In my case there is still very slight marks left on the pictures after cleaning, although this kit removed 80% of the marks. Not sure if the mirror, focusing screen or the sensor has the marks. This for sure does the job of cleaning the sensor. However, I felt the kit was overloaded with too many brushes and microfibers, just to make the buyer feel good that they got enough for their bucks - Instead of the extra brush and microfiber, they could have put in a couple of more additional swabs. The swabs were not of great quality - they were just ok. Dont try to reuse them as they would leave residue.I found their youtube videos painfully slow, taking time just to explain how good their cleaning solution is - world class and 100% safe (which actually made me think the other way). **UPDATE - 07/15/2017** Seller followed up on my review and contacted with options to fulfill my needs which is great. 1+ star for the customer service! ... show more

First class quality sensor cleaning kit - includes everything one would need to rid the inside and sensor of dust, dirt, fibers, hair, etc that might accumulate on your Full Frame or Mirrorless camera's sensor. NOTE: The kit I received contained (6) cleaning swabs but only 24mm swabs. If your camera has a different size sensor make sure you look for a kit containing the exact size you need for your particular camera. Only thing that I wish this kit included is a bit more "cleaning fluid". Kind of chintzy on the fluid. Not sure of the ingredients of this fluid (not alcohol) nor where to buy more fluid when needed. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I watched a YouTube video for instructional purposes and coordinated it with the instructions for using the swabs. Spray the solution 1 to 2 times on to a freshly opened swab. Gently rest one side of the swab against the sensor and wipe in one direction one time. Then use the opposite side of the swab and wipe gently in the opposite direction of the first wipe. Discard swab. If you have moisture or need to wipe the sensor again, open a new swab, and repeat the process without the sensor solution. Worked excellent. I had accumulated large amounts of dust and a little moisture on my sensor. This kit effectively restored my Rebel T5's crisp image capabilities. I love the detailing brushes for gently removing dirt and dust from the body and lenses. The air blower is a lifesaver. And this kit comes with many cleaning cloths. I haven't experienced any residue from the cleaning pen, so far so good! ... show more
