I am so tired of window phone mounts that bounce and sag, or fall off the window. I decided to give the Vanmass phone mount a try. I was intrigued by the unique suction mechanism and because the mount wasn't very expensive, I thought I would give it a try. I was impressed! The suction mechanism is the strongest, most stable I've ever used. The only way this thing could be stuck to my window any better is if it were welded to the window. I have a Samsung S21 Ultra phone that's encased in a stout protective case. It's big and heavy. When I mount it in the Vanmass mount, it doesn't move or bounce at all. I'm an Uber driver and I put a lot of miles on my car each week, plus I live on a dirt road that's full of bumps and ruts. It doesn't matter how big the bump is, the phone stays rock solid in place. This mount cradles my big and heavy phone with ease keeps it securely in place without interfering with the side keys (it's height adjustable), and the pads inside the clamp are soft so there's not even a scratch. What's really great is that when I set the angle I like, the phone stays at that angle. There's plenty of room to plug the charging cable in and the release is very easy to access. I have a background in mechanical engineering and I can see that the Vanmass phone mount is very well designed, made of the finest materials and offers a lot for the price. The media could not be loaded. The phone holder is designed with a long shaft, easy to adjust, compact design, suitable for all uses. This swing arm is easy to install on the air vent, protects the device from scratches, impact resistance, supports the use of the phone while driving.

Suction cup works great. Multiple adjustments make it easy to position where you want it. I like the fact that this mount puts the phone more in my line of vision so it makes it easy to keep my eyes on the road. This is especially nice when using GPS. I drive a BMW 1-series. Ove the past six years I've used other devices attached to my windshield both to this car, and my two Mazda MX5 Miata sport cars. When I ordered this device I believed it to be the same as the others I've used. It was far superior. Instead of mounting to my windshield I opted to do a dash mount. Full disclosure... This was provided to me free of charge for a product review. I've used these, before, and this one worked great! I didn't use the vent mount, so I can't comment on that. Nor can I comment on suction ability in the hot southern summer. But, the few weeks I've used it so far have been excellent. It sticks on the dash of my 15 Corolla with no issues. Once I had adjusted the arm to put the phone in the desired position, I didn't have to readjust after several weeks. I was also able to simply remove the suction cup from the dash cleanly and with no mess. It's a cheap and effective mount, one I plan to keep and possibly use in my other cars! ... show more

    • Fantastic but not as pictured
Works great but doesn't work as pictured. Has a suction based and a phone holder but once in place you cannot adjust pan rotation of arm, additionally the phone holder extension arm sticks straight out from a mechanical slide mount that locks with a plastic retaining bolt there is no hinge and it doesn't allow for any angle downward or hinging as shown in the photo. This is very different from the one pictured with fewer hinges and more mechanically basic. It still works it's very practical, very stick, I've moved mine and it leaves no adhesive behind, locks in place nicely and has enough range for me, but it is NOT as pictured, just be aware of that. ... show more
