This is a nice way to control pests. If you can use smells to deter them, then I would prefer that to having to use traps. These are easy to use and shouldn't bother you at all. You just put some out and replace them in about 3 months when they scent wears down. I'm hopeful they will work reasonably well. ... show more

I like these a lot and i wanted to try something preventative. I've heard a lot about peppermint and I was excited to try it. It was easy to place these around the house and they smell great. I'm excited to see how well they work and if they make a difference.

I don't know if these work to detour mice or not, but they have a strong mint smell. I will use them in my shed over the winter and change them out every month or so. I figure they can't hurt and they will also make the shed smell nice.

These are junk. I tried to save a dollar and ended up wasting more money. I’ll be purchasing Cab Fresh from Tractor Supply from now on. These don’t even have an odor to them.

I can't say whether they work or not, but I do know that peppermint oil does keep the vermits away so I expect these to work fine. Will update with any good or bad news.

I keep my extras of these in the box under my sink, and I haven't seen a mouse under my sink since then. These are pretty effective! Put them anywhere you see mice, or anywhere you don't want to see them. I have mine in my lower cabinets and in my drawer with my extra dishtowels and haven't seen any mouse droppings in the towels lately, or heard them scrabbling around in my cabinets. ... show more

We are using these in our RV to try to keep mice away while it is in storage. They have a very strong fragrant smell which should help deter the mice. The size is appropriate and they also come with a mesh bag you can put them in. We elected to skip the mesh bag. Time will tell but we believe the smell is strong enough to deter the mice as we have had success with cotton balls and drops of peppermint. This will be much easier now that we don't have to refresh the cotton balls every month. ... show more

    • Mice will hate the peppermint smell
So far these have done a good job of keeping the mice out of our travel trailer this winter. They have a fairly strong peppermint smell, which mice just hate, so it seems to be doing the job of keeping them away. I know I would be repelled by the smell of these lol. They each come individually wrapped in plastic, which is really nice, so you don't have to use all of them all at once. They include a tiny, mesh drawstring bag for each one. You just open the plastic around each one, drop them in the drawstring bag and then place them around your basement, travel trailer or wherever else you have a mouse problem. Easy peasy! I was putting peppermint essential oil on cotton balls and leaving them around our trailer. These are so much easier to use than doing that. The balls look a lot bigger in the pictures on Amazon. Just be aware that they are much smaller than shown. This is actually kind of nice as they fit in corners or other tiny places that mice like to hide. ... show more
