I mainly use this welding machine for my car and truck projects. I have used the Mig with the wire welder with .035 and once I set the control for Synergic flux and begin to weld they seem to come out with much nicer looking finish. Not getting near the spatter that I was getting before on the other machines, and it strikes an arc easier. I'm impressed with it's capabilities and features. Great welder for portability due to its small footprint. The leads have a nice 6 ft cord to them. One thing to note is that the leads have the same end and can be accidentally swapped, so be very careful when setting up. I like that it runs on 110 when 220 isn't available. I needed a portable welder for small jobs around the house, specifically a railing base that had come loose. This welder did a fine job of securing the metal. This welder has a built-in hot start and it is light-weight, efficient and energy-saving. One single MMA welding mode is easy to operate and is compatible with 1/16'' to 5/32'' welding rods. I used 5/32 rods for my project and it handled well. I used the 110v option. Overall it was a good value for the money, I had gotten a quote from a professional company to do this repair and it was over $500. This welder cost a fraction of that. ... show more
