Incredibly simple to use and - at least for my application -- almost a miraculous fix. I had a set of really nice headphones ($100+) whose plastic earpiece holder cracked, making the headphones useless. I applied a few of the "welding" staples to cracked areas of the plastic; and within minutes, the cracked plastic was stable again and, effectively, completely repaired. You should practice a little on spare plastic, because the hot staples are, well, hot...and it's good to know how quickly (or not) they'll "sink in" to the plastic you're repairing/reinforcing.     • Really Easy for Repairs
So, I broke the cover off the passenger mirror on my Ram Pickup. I keep hooking the thing on my garage door pulling out. Instead of spending $150 on a new mirror I thought I would give this a try. Holy cow is this thing fast and easy to use. I wouldn't count on it looking as "good as new" when you are done with the project, but putting broken plastic pieces back together instead of buying something new, this thing is really cool and easy. I might add, I am gadget guy. I have an entire garage full of gadgets to fix one thing or another and to make stuff. I never had a way to work on plastic before. Now I am looking around for things with damage to the plastic to see if I can fix it. Totally worth $20. ... show more

    • Fixed our 12’ Skeletons
This was surprisingly good. Our 12’ Skeletons got hit with wind and broke ribs, shoulders, etc after falling. The welder helped us keep them together and fix joints and plastic retainers. Very helpful!

    • Fixed my broken Garbage bin
The dump truck was aggressive with my bin and broke the lid where it attaches. Sure, I could ask for a new one, but that just adds waste to the world. So I bought this Welder kit and embedded the metal staples. It looks like frankenstein's monster, but it has been functional for two months now.
