I bought this almost a year ago and never thought to review this but I hope it helps! I finally started taking this consistently for about a month, one teaspoon in the morning and one teaspoon at night. I just dump it in my mouth and take a swig of water to wash it down. When I was taking it inconsistently, I added a teaspoon to a jug of water and sipped it through the day which was actually less convenient/quick for me. It tastes really good, like plain sugar, and the bag is huge enough and cheaper than all other alternatives to last quite some time. I store it in a sealed bag because its own seal stops working after awhile because powder gets into it. Since beginning this, I sleep like a baby! In fact, for the first couple weeks it made me a little too sleepy in the morning so I cut that dose until my tolerance built up. I’ve had hirsuitism my whole life and I just noticed that my chest hair growth has completely slowed! I would get stubble the next day almost, now it looks like hair doesn’t even grow there! Same for my chin, although I have neck hair that is still there. I’m using this to try to conceive also. I started using this during my period so I haven’t finished a full cycle yet. But I ovulated on time, with ovulation pains and good cervical mucus that I havent seen in a while so I have hope! I usually O every month, but I have only just been diagnosed with PCOS as of last month. In the cycles I have used this product my temperatures are better, O is later rather than earlier, and I have a theory that I did infact conceive the 2 months I used it before (April, July, possibly August/Sept) but because I had uterine polyps at the time my immune system got inflamed and implantation failed. I have not been diagnosed with pcos, my hormone levels are in the normal range, progesterone in the lower normal range. No hx of infertility (I have two children, in my mid 20s).Regular periods but unexplained hirsuitism. I do not have a blood sugar issue or anything other issue but my thyroid tsh levels do fluctuate towards the hyper end. Just wanted to paint a picture. I’ve been taking it for two and half weeks daily. I take one scoop a day. Significant decrease in mood swings and irritability, basically non-existent. I started this right after I finished ovulating, my period came exactly as expected. I did notice my period ended a bit smoother, usually the last day drags a bit. The abnormal hair growth seems to be decreasing or rather falling off and not growing back. I’m a lot less bloated after each meal, which was an unexpected surprise. Overall improved mood. I had some hormonal acne here and there which has since disappeared. Anxiety wasn’t my primary issue and neither was sleeping. No side effects that I am currently aware of. This is the most cost efficient package out there for myo-inositol. Many inositol supplements catered towards PCOS women are 20+ dollars for a month's worth of inositol; but this pack at 23 dollars is lasting me a year and more due to the sheer size. It's really turned my life around in many ways; I have more energy through the day to keep working and keep focused, I have enough energy to keep exercising and not go through a sugar drop that tires me out easily during strenuous activities. On days when I forget, I feel the effects immediately - I have far more sugar cravings throughout the day, I am unable to keep exercising without feeling like crap, and so on. Would seriously recommend for dealing with PCOS. You can eat it straight which is what I usually do, or add it to smoothies/drinks/milk/overnight oats/so on. The zipper tends to wear out over time though, so I'd recommend scooping it out into a different container and using that for your daily use. ... show more

Plenty good, I take this for mental health and overall wellbeing, and as a sugar substitute. BUT! The bag it comes in is terrible, it has a very narrow, single lock zipper that looks like it'd have a very weak hold after a few weeks of use, and if that wasn't bad enough the zipper is attached with even less force. It ripped off one side the first time I opened it. The amount in this bag seems larger than a quart, so be prepared to put it in a larger container. Because of this, I would prefer if they just ditched the zipper and provided a simple non-resealable bag. ... show more

I am 60 years old and post menopause and I also have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and Fibromyalgia. Generally, I just exist. i do the things I am supposed to do, but, I am always hurting, tired and my brain doesn't work. I also recently got the worst flu ever - over 5 days of being so sick I could barely move with a temperature of 103. Recovery after something like that takes me weeks and I am generally left with a depression that is worse than usual. I titrated up on this from 4 grams (I used a scale) to 8 grams (4 in the am and 4 in the pm), and, oh, my goodness! My brain works! I can remember where I put my glasses, I can concentrate on work tasks for longer periods, read a book and remember what I read and make plans to do things... I have more energy than I had before and can actually plan to do all the things. (I still feel awful later, but that's the fibro). I sleep a little better (I take a lot of different things to help with sleep). Sleep is more than just falling asleep, it's staying asleep, sleeping deeply, etc. and this seems to help my other meds work better. ... show more
