I was weary, I'm an andis t outliner girl and worried this wouldn't be as good. Dare i say they are better! They are quiet, light and comfortable to hold. They cut close and clean and even work well on course beard hair without pulling. Charge holds well for what I've experienced, though I keep them on the charge base when not in use while I'm working. At half the price of the andis t outliner, if they last even 3 months averaging about 20 haircuts a day, they are more then worth the money. ... show more

I bought these and the clippers. These are very quiet and the little boys love the green color. I do about 25-30 clients a day and these lasted me 2 days on a full charge. I work 9 hr shifts too. These little trimmers pack a punch. They are as quiet as my wahl mag trimmers, great for little boys.

I've been using the trimmers for about a week now and love the results! The are quiet over all and when the salon is going, you can't hear them. The plastic protector helps keep the gears clean. There light when it comes to the weight but get the job done. Love the matte black. The only thing I don't on these trimmers is the on/off switch. It's a bit small and has made my thumb a bit sore when using in. I fixed the problem by glueing a plastic flower and it's better. I would like the lip on the button to be bigger for any easy off and on. Otherwise a great product! ... show more

Daily mens stylists. Had the candy's for a year and I loved them for line ups and beard trims. Sketchy on kids, it's so sharp. One time I got a guy's neck pubes caught in the mechanism and had to cut it out with my mag. i will be keeping the skeleton cap on this one. Started sounding funny after that heart wrenching experience. Took it apart to clean and something broke. Blade was impossible to replace tpob didn't not send instructions with new blade- no guidance online either. Replaced with ghost x, but motor on the candy's was perfectly fine. 9/10 so glad to have these back and leave the mag for the kiddos. ... show more

    • Professional Trimmer that's Outstanding For Home Use

This trimmer absolutely can be used in a professional shop, and would be a very good addition, particular for use on kids. Professional grade trimmers are better at creating a really sharp, hard line, very quickly, however can be very uncomfortable and require a great deal of skill. I'd argue that the extra time it takes being careful is equal to going over an area once more with this, and there's no chance of irritation which would give the customer a better experience. It's perfect for home use, since you can easily hand it to someone else to trim your neck without worry about them being too aggressive with it. The narrow neck makes getting around ears and in tight radius areas very easy. It's a quality built item that fits well in the hand and feels nimble. The included guards are very good for working typical uses, particularly facial hair grooming. When you do your research on this you'll find a lot of professionals lean into hard-liners, however they always come back to using this for kids or for when they're working with clients with sensitive skin, etc.; it's always on their bench. It's an outstanding clipper at any price, and the service is excellent. I did order one which had a manufacturing defect (they're built in the same Chinese factories as even the most expensive clippers) and it just happens sometimes. As the trimmer was so inexpensive I took it apart to see exactly the failure; the retaining panel that holds the charging pins had been incorrectly formed and the negative pin was pushed into the body not allowing for a charge. This sort of thing is pretty common in manufacturing, and I contacted TPOB to let them know. They were extremely quick to respond and very gracious about replacements; I had the new one in my hand the following day. I would not expect to find a problem like this as a commonality and now even this element has been added to their QC process. It's Amazon; if something is wrong with it there's an extremely easy path to return it. The item is just as high quality as anything else you could find here despite the lower price. The performance will radically exceed your off-the-shelf Wahl, Norelco, etc. type trimmers and be a lot more comfortable and precise to use. ... show more
