I installed one of these in my diesel pickup's engine bay because throughout winter I leave the block heater plugged in. That means while the outside temp is in the teens and windy, under the hood, the temperature is in the 40s or 50s. And since I live in an agricultural area, those are perfect conditions for mice to take shelter under the hood. And where mice take shelter, they start chewing. However, having one installed over a month, I so far haven't had any rodent damage. On top of the fact that they seem to work well to keep rodents away, it's also still going strong and doing it's job after running for over a month without stop. Very pleased with that. ... show more
