Been waiting to put this up in our new home. Finally got the chance to set it up. It was very easy to set up and completed in like 30 mins. I’m a bit handy so might take an hour if you’re not very handy with tools. There’s 4 lights that you can put so it’s really bright. Our new house has a huge master bedroom and that’s where we’ve put it. The fan has a reversible option for cold times too. Remote makes the operation much easier. Always the wifey makes me get up to switch off the light. So that definitely changes. It’s very quiet and no noise as well. It looks neat and sturdy. Running fine for the past few days. We really like the looks of the installed fan and it is very quiet. The overall assembly was very easy. I ran into a couple of issues that required my husband to assist. One of the rods was not drilled straight through, but rather on the side. My husband was able to drill it out correctly, but we do have an extra hole on one side. In addition, one of the nuts was defective. My husband came to the rescue again with another one. My husband thinks that it would look better if there was another coupling cover at the top. The fan produces a fairly good amount of airflow. It is very quiet and has a lot of speed settings. So far it is working perfectly at the basement stairs. We are hoping it will help keep the heat downstairs in the colder months. We keep it on the wind setting. It fluctuates between all speeds and gives a somewhat relaxing white noise. Love this light and fan! Got this light for my home office based on other reviews and I'm glad I did. It's the perfect size for the room and looks great. The plus was the fan. Looks cool and enough lighting for the office area. Even after turning beep off it’ll still beep when changing a setting. There’s a delay when you use the light switch to turn on and air flow is mainly just directly underneath, does not circulate entire room. Also haven’t figured out how to dim lighting. ... show more
