The battery arrived looking new with plastic shields in place to protect the adhesive strips. The phone booted and showed 58% at first. Within 5 minutes, the charge dropped to 0% and has not changed after charging all day. I thought maybe the battery connector may have disconnected, but the phone will remain powered up for about 2 minutes when removed from the charger. A disconnected battery would have shut down immediately after being disconnected from the charger. Now I have to dismantle the phone, remove the battery and send the battery back. Not a happy camper. The tools are also very poor quality and were not able to remove the screws holding the battery connectors in place. I can't return the battery due the potential damage removing the battery may cause. ... show more

Installed 2 days ago. Came with 54% charge on the battery and was at 47% a few hours later when I went to bed. 6 hours later it still showed 47% when I got up. Took the entire day of my heavier than normal use to dwindle it down to 6% before my first charge on a 1A charger that charged to 100% in a couple hours. Left it plugged in another hour and it has gone about 24 hours without charge and still some heavier than normal use and now is showing 18%. My normal use on the OEM battery new would still be around 70% at the end of the day on my average use but after 4 years wasn't making it through the day without needing a charge. I do think this battery has more capacity than the OEM, but the advertised 11,500 mAh rating doesn't seem likely or possible to me. I have only had it installed 2 days now and seems to be working good and decent quality thus far. I used to go 2 days before charging the OEM 1,821 mAh battery, and my average use on a 11,500 mAh battery should get me 5 to 6 times that between charges - like a week or ten days. Don't think that is going to happen? Maybe after the first 10 full cycle and charges it will impress me. I will update if it does. In the meantime - I do think it was a much needed replacement and even an upgrade for $20 that seems to be worth it for a decent price. So far.... So Good. ... show more

I knew it was too good to be true but I still wanted to try it. The battery is smaller than the original PSP battery. There's no way this is actually 5000mAh as it lasts less than the PSP battery too. Same game, same full 100% charge and it lasts 30 less. Def not 5000mAh.
