The Play and Charge Kit for Xbox includes two 1100 mAh rechargeable batteries for up to 40 hours of gameplay with an Xbox Wireless Controller. With the flexibility to charge while in controller or out, you can either keep a backup battery charged and ready, or power up a 2-player gaming session. I used rechargeable AA batteries for a long time but I wanted to convert a couple Xbox One controllers to USB C and not have to swap batteries. These batteries work very well, hold a charge comparable to AA batteries, and are especially convenient for converting Xbox One controllers to USB C. They were a little harder to actually install than I was expecting but once they're in, they fit securely without issue. I really like that they include labeled backplates for both Series S/X and Xbox One controllers. It also comes with a nice extra long USB C cable so you can charge while playing. They stick out a tiny bit more than the original backplates but it's barely noticeable and doesn't bother me. I also like the charging indicator light that is amber during charging and white when fully charged. Overall, very satisfied with these batteries and might get another set.

I have purchased two of these PowerA Charging Stations, they have been a great addition to my Xbox setup. They charge both my controllers quickly and reliably, and the included rechargeable batteries last a solid 20+ hours of gameplay. Setup was super easy, just swap the battery doors and drop the controllers into the dock. The LED indicators are clear and helpful, so I always know when they’re ready. It keeps everything neat and saves me from constantly swapping AA batteries. For the price, it’s an awesome value and works just as well as more expensive alternatives. This charge kit works excellent with my Xbox X controllers. They fit well, and it's very convenient to be able to charge and play at the same time! We've used them for hours on end, and not once have had the battery run out. Although even if it did, just plug in the cord and you're good to go - continue playing. Very long lasting and convenient.

Product works well after a year of use haven't replaced the batteries. They hold a good 48+ hours of active use easily even after all this time. I wouldn't keep this in the same area you sleep though because it has very bright LEDs, but simple electrical tape does the trick.

cheap, works well. has USB-C. i don't keep micro-usb cables handy (good riddance) so this is an easy way to add USBC rechargeable capabilities to older xbox1 controllers. smart design lets you charge the battery inside or outside of the controller. you can still charge with the built-in USB port if you want but there's not much reason to. the green color is kinda gross aesthetically but its xbox so it is what it is and only a small bit is visible once installed w/doors. includes doors for both xb1 and xbX|S controllers. a single charge is less than a pair of AA alkaline batteries but more than enough for a gaming sesh. you can charge while playing so its kinda a non issue regardless. fewer and fewer things i own use AA batteries so keeping them stocked was starting to become a chore.
