This bench is very sturdy, the length will handle 5'11 and well over easily. The ease of putting it together was nice with minimal time to assemble maybe 15 minutes. Taking it out of the box is harder because it is package so well nothing will damage it, not even when they toss it sound on there truck to deliver. Don't use anything sharp to open so you don't cut the pad. Nice and comfortable, price is perfect and you would have to pay another 50 to find one like this quality. I go to the gym regularly and can tell ya it meets all my needs and not too high off the ground so even short people can have there feet touch when laying on it. ... show more

Only issue is the gap between the seat and back but it's not a deal breaker. A rolled up towel should solve the problem. Other people may not be affected by this. ... show more

Pros: 1) The frame is sturdily built. 2) High density foam back and seat 3) Wide floor stabilizers Cons: 1) The photo on Amazon looks as if the leg pads are made of molded foam. They're actually covered loosely with a sewn pad. 2) The knob/gear that raises and lowers the floor leveler appears to be made of soft plastic and adjusts only with difficulty. The primary reason I bought this adjustable weight bench instead of one of the other brands' models, is that the foot extensions are far wider than the others. This bench did not disappoint in that respect. When I did dumbbell twists, the bench didn't move at all. The gap between the seat and the back is fairly wide, so I compensated by rolling up a hand towel, duct taping the ends of the roll and shoving it in the gap. The decline has only one position and it is severe, i.e., all the way down. Since I am not doing very heavy weights, I stuck a tiny footstool under the headrest to set a much slighter decline angle (see the photo) and that works just fine for me.
