Features

  • LGA1851 AND LGA1700 CONTACT FRAME: Improved contact pressure distribution through Intel mounting frame for efficient heat transfer, thanks to even CPU contact surface
  • NATIVE AMD OFFSET MOUNTING: Optimized for the multi-die chiplet design of Ryzen processors - 5mm offset for optimal coverage of the CPU hotspot, resulting in more efficient heat transfer
  • ACTIVE COOLING OF THE VOLTAGE CONVERTERS: PWM-controlled VRM fan that additionally cools components in the base area, such as voltage converters
  • INTEGRATED CABLE MANAGEMENT: The PWM cables of the radiator fans are integrated into the jacket of the hoses, which means that only one visible cable is connected to the motherboard
  • LIMITED COMPATIBILITY WITH A FEW MOTHERBOARDS: Oversized coolers on the M.2_1 slot can lead to compatibility problems. An overview and solution is available in the technical data, in the manual and on the manufacturer's website. Please use the compatibility check

  • Wonderful
Style: Liquid Freezer III 240 A-RGB, white
Title: Exceptional Cooling Performance - ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 240 A-RGB Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) I recently upgraded my PC cooling system to the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 240 A-RGB, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. This all-in-one (AIO) liquid cooler offers outstanding performance for both Intel and AMD processors, providing efficient cooling that keeps my CPU temperatures impressively low even under heavy loads. Design and Aesthetics: The white finish and RGB lighting add a modern touch to my build, making it visually appealing without being overly flashy. The A-RGB functionality is easy to customize, allowing me to synchronize it with my other components for a cohesive look. Cooling Efficiency: The PWM-controlled pump operates quietly while delivering a remarkable cooling performance. With fan speeds ranging from 200 to 2000 RPM, I can adjust the cooling based on my needs, ensuring my system runs smoothly and quietly. Installation: Installation was straightforward, thanks to the well-designed mounting system compatible with both LGA 1700 and LGA 1851 sockets. The included hardware made the setup process quick and hassle-free. Conclusion: Overall, the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 240 A-RGB is an excellent choice for anyone looking to enhance their PC's cooling capabilities. Its combination of efficient performance, stylish design, and easy installation makes it a standout product in the AIO cooling market. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Great AOI to keep your CPU cool.
Style: Liquid Freezer III 240 A-RGB, white
Great cooler, somewhat easy to install if you follow the instructions. I would strongly recommend watching the video (scan the QR Code on the side of the box) at least a couple of times before beginning the installation. i have an Intel i9 12900K processor, LGA 1700 socket, and it keeps the temperatures pretty stable and well under 30 degrees Celsius on Idle. Measure your case and make sure the radiator fits, as well as the RAM clearance. I put the cooler on a Lian Li Lancool II MESH ATX mid tower with a Corsair Vengeance RAM kit. The RAM has a tall clearance, but I was able to install the cooler with about 1/8 of an inch to spare. If you want full RGB functionality, I would install this cooler using the split cable connecting to your ARGB motherboard and pump fan directly. This gives you full control of the fan speeds and RGB features. All and all I think this is a great product, it comes with all the accessories you need to is install the the AOI in an Intel or AMD socket, includes thermal paste, works quietly (this could be very subjective), and keeps the CPU temperatures cool and stable. ... show more

  • Awesome AIO with a kinda big caveat
Style: Liquid Freezer III 240 A-RGB, black
I got this for my ryzen 9 7900x3d and it’s been amazing! It’s a great value and I haven’t seen over 75c, ever! And I’m talking cinebench r23 multicore for 30 minutes, heavy occt cpu test for an hour, 120watt+ constant load, and especially not in any games. It also runs very quiet and the fact that you can set the fan speeds for the pump, vrm, and rad separately is a nice touch, compared to the LF2 lineup. I will say that the mounting is kinda wonky, compared to other coolers, and kinda my only complaint. For one, on ryzen cpus, it mounts lower and doesn’t cover the entire IHS. This is actually a better thing, since it mounts directly over the die/ccd’s and cools more efficiently, but this does mean it can only be mounted one way, and I fear it might be an issue for more novice builders (who might not read clear instructions). Now, my biggest gripe has to be how difficult it is to actually screw on. It uses 2 spring retention screws that go into the mounting plate, problem is they’re as stiff as a board and require the strength of Zeus to properly screw in. Im not kidding, I’ve used 2 of these lf3 models, and I was worried I’d bend a pin on the socket, after I did that once before, or break the motherboard. Thank god I didn’t delid my cpu, I know I’d crack the die. After that, the argb LED’s are bright and it’s nice how the pump can have separate argb functionality, but both fans act as one large LED strip instead of being mirrored. So, any effects applied to the fan further from the hose is about 1-2 seconds behind. Overall, great build quality and excellent bang for your buck, just work on making it easier to mount. ... show more

  • Long Overdue Upgrade
Style: Liquid Freezer III 240 A-RGB, black
Decided it was finally time to get a new AIO cooler—old one worked fine in terms of performance, but the water running through it was just super loud and grating on my ears when I’d be on my PC for hours at a time. That’s to say, this cooler is a lot quieter and temps are still great! ~40 when idling but when I’m running games or have several programs open at once, ~50-60 depending on the load. Pros: - quiet - high performance - compatible with AM4 (comes with brackets) - PWM pins (I’m aware many modern AIOs are PWM compatible but my old one was not, so this is a notable upgrade) Cons: - no paper instructions—there’s a QR to access instructions online and they wouldn’t be very clear to someone who has never installed an AIO before Other things of note: - radiator is quite thick; I use a ATX mid case with MSI mobo and sapphire GPU. Radiator just barely squeezed in Overall a great upgrade and well worth! ... show more

  • Terrible Pump Bracket Design
Style: Liquid Freezer III 240 A-RGB, black
There are alot of good things about this cooler, but it has a fatal flaw. Love the cable management and preinstalled fans. All of that is fantastic. The pump mounting bracket is where it falls apart. It feels almost impossible to get it to thread. I can't even get it on without thermal paste just to test. Unforgivable bracket design, I worried about damaging my motherboard trying to install this hot garbage. Good luck trying not to tear your hair out installing this. Hard pass for me; returning. ... show more
