Incredibly disappointing quality. Very light weight plastic which not only tips over easily, but the lid keeps falling off. The lid is attached by a small lip. The lip is so shallow, that the slightest bump and it falls off. Purchased for use outside on our porch table. Even the slightest breeze, and it falls over. At one time, I saw the same quality trash can at a local dollar store. Wish they still had it, because that's all this is worth: $1 ... show more

Perfect! Purchased for use: As a countertop trash can for coffee trash (stir sticks, sugar packets, creamer cups etc.) Size: Perfect for kitchen/commercial countertop use (tall enough for the tall wood stir sticks to fit and still have several inches height extra). May work in a bathroom if space is limited or a separate bin is needed for feminine products. Quality: Good. Plastic thickness is mid-range (not patio furniture thick but not so thin that you squeeze and it looses it's shape). Colors: Even color tones, no blochiness or fading. Finish on all colors is matte (base is also grey, NOT metallic). Style: Neutral contemporary, blends nicely with our grey and white office kitchen. Value: Good. Much cheaper than brand names (like Simplehuman, Umbra etc.) for comparable sized products. ... show more

This is smaller than I need and I don't know what to do with it. I had hoped it would work as a small recycling daily bin for under the kitchen sink but it is far smaller than I thought it would be despite measuring. Right now it is upstairs in an unused guest bath but I can't get the stickers off so I don't know if I want to keep it since they would visible. (the size would be okay there but the stickers are not.) The lid does a pretty good job of staying on (actually not great for my purpose but would keep alot of dogs and kids out) as it sort of clips together. The swing part of the lid tends to get stuck depending on the direction you swing it - its like it is misaligned. For the size, it is a bit expensive. .I would rate it between two and three stars I guess. Edit: found a large two inch crack on side where lid clips on when I removed lid today. It sat mostly unused in a spare guest bath except for two days of light use and I think it cracked when the lid was removed. Very flimsy. Frustrated because I can't return it now. Would not buy this brand again. ... show more

In case it isn't obvious (because it wasn't to us), this trash can is teeny tiny. We originally bought it for our bathroom, but it is too small for that. However, it works great on top of our diaper changing table for the occasional trash (we cloth diaper, so only make a handful of trash every month). For reference and purely by eyeing it, it's about 11" tall and 8" wide and 4-5" deep (which included the lid). It would fit maybe 16-24 dirty tissues or wet wipes before needing to be emptied. But if you have a micro sized place that you need a trash can, this one is awesome. ... show more

Are you serious??? Really? This is NOT a trash can and I ordered two of them. I could not put a gallon of water in this "CAN". It is so small that it is USELESS I hate it. Don't buy this unless you need a place to put your cotton balls in a cabinet. REALLY bad and for this same price I went to WalMart and bought a 3 gallon Trash Can that is function, attractive, and most of all useful. BAD product or bad description. Handy little gizmo. It didn't keep one of my dogs out and the kid pops off too easily. However, when I broke a bone that couldn't be stabilized, I could spend more time in my chair and arrange most of what I needed nearby. Feeling better now, but the refuse still goes there.
