I looked everywhere in town for a trashcan I like, and couldn't find it. This trashcan is the main trashcan where I dump my other trash into as well as its own load on trash day. It had to have a lid. I moved into a newly remodeled apratment, with blueish gray cupboards, gray doors, and black appliances. I love it. The gray trashcan, with black top, and swinging gray lid fits the deco prefect. The lid fits with a snap, so it dies mot fall off. Perfect size for the bathroom or office, I love that it has a swing top so you don't have to touch anything and it isn't one of those "touch activated" ones that break constantly. Simple and efficient. The price could be a little cheaper, but it's not too bad.

Do you want really nice & aesthetically pleasing? If so, move along. It's great for what it is. A really cheap, tiny, trash receptacle made out of plastic. It does it's job well, and it's all I needed for that particular spot. So, in my opinion, that deserves a high rating. But, if you're looking for "pretty", or even "stylish", or bigger than two 2ltr bottles standing next to each other, this isn't the one you want.
