Features

  • Professional Plumber Tools8PCS including pipe nipple extractor from 18 to 34, a 12 shower arm pipe extractor, a 1.5 tub drain extractor and an 1-inch 6 piont socket, suitable for removing old, broken, rusted, or stubborn drains and pipes. Tips: socket with an extention works better than a wrench.
  • Life SaverWhen the old, broken, rusted, or stubborn drain assembly has corroded and is otherwise unmovable, this tub drain removal tool will actually break it loose so that the drain assembly can be removed.
  • Unique Design Unique helical knurl bites into the drain. Simple. Effective. Strong grab. Hex head design for applying maximum torque with wrenches and heavy-duty pipe pliers. Get rid of the size of the ratchet square hole. It is more convenient.
  • Chamfered End Chamfered bit ensures a smooth fit onto fasteners. The size is engraved on the socket for easy identification.

  • Saved Me Tons of $$$
Size: 7 Pieces
This did the trick. I messed up on thoroughly closing up drain while using a bathtub refinishing kit and some of it got around the flat round drain piece I hadn't been able to remove, and that made it nearly impossible to remove. After driving down the tool into the bathtub drain with a hammer as instructed, and Turing counter clockwise, this stubborn ring popped off. A process that took only 5min ... show more

  • Tub drain extractor doesn't work
Size: 7 Pieces
The 1.5" is 1.5" so the same as the drain which means it isn't even small enough to set in the hole but rather just sits on top. I even tried hammering it in but it won't as it's exactly the same size as the drain. They're supposed to be slightly smaller too inset in that drain size. Update: The company reached out to me on their own, provided a refund, sent my critique to the design team and never asked me to update or change my review. I'm changing it regardless to reflect their great customer service and promise to fix the drain extractor in the future. While this product currently has a design flaw, I would absolutely do business with this company again. ... show more

  • Great
Size: 7 Pieces
Needed to remove a broken PVC pipe stub in my Jacuzzi. A service call would have been five times the cost of this set. I'm money ahead if I never use it again! Worked like a charm and a five minute job was actually done in five minutes!

  • Removed tub drain with ease
Size: 7 Pieces
Had a stubborn tub drain and this tool removed it with no problem, remember to tap extractor into drain and exert downward pressure while turning, I used channel locks.

  • Didn't work for me.
Size: 7 Pieces
The O.D. on the extractor was larger than the I.D. of 1-1/2" PVC.

  • Did not remove bathtub drain
Size: 7 Pieces
Did not have the bite needed to grab even with tapping with Hammer and downward pressure. Very frustrating.

  • Tried to remove a 1/4” broken pipe nipple
Size: 8 Pieces
I ordered this set because I recently broke a pipe nipple off into my air compressor. I used the 1/4” size pipe remover from the set, and initially it made a nice grip on the inside of the pipe. Once I started turning to remove the broken piece, the pipe removal tool shaved the inside down and just removed a bunch of material. Now the pipe extractor is too small for the inside diameter and won’t grip the pipe nipple any longer. I will have to resort to drilling this out and re-tapping the holes because I’m guessing the galvanized steel material was too soft for this pipe extractor set. I will say the tool itself is very strong and didn’t get damaged at all while trying to insert it by hitting with a hammer. ... show more

  • Just right; you need a hammer and a wrench
Size: 2 Pieces
I needed to remove a stuck, old rusted out drain on a bathtub. I’m plumbing in-handy but find this very useable and did a great job breaking the old drain loose. Notes for the other newbies: 1. You can find a drain wrench to remove the drain; but those depend on the little cross at the bottom of the drain being solid. Mine weren’t. I did use one to tighten in the replacement. 2. The socket that comes with it requires a larger socket than I have, so I just used a crescent wrench and hit it with a mallet to break the drain loose. 3. The little stopper holder pin in the middle of the drain unscrews so you can get this tool into place. 4. This is a surprisingly messy job. Wear gloves and plan on cleanup and drying time before putting the new drain/stopper in. 5. You can search for videos online. This takes some time and muscle, but it’s not that difficult. ... show more
