This boat is awesome. I bought this boat and a different brand of boat for my 4 year old and 6 year old boys. They absolutely love playing with this boat. The battery life is 15-20 minutes each battery depending how you drive it but if comes with 2 so you have plenty of life to play. I have used this on a lake and in the ocean and both were a blast. Having the carrying case is a huge plus too as if makes storage and transport very convenient. Finally, we had an issue where my son damaged the outside top cap of the boat. I contacted the seller to buy a replacement part and they actually sent me a full replacement parts boat not only for this part but any others including remote and batteries. I absolutely love this thing and it really is fast! I direct a camp that has a large pond and have been testing it out nonstop. I actually inspired one of my colleagues to buy one herself and we have races together during lunch. Love that it comes with 2 batteries for extra play time. Does collect a tiny bit of water inside so just pull out the battery, carefully pour it out, and gently dab it dry with a paper towel as soon as you are finished running it so nothing gets shorted out. Other than that, I can’t say enough about it between the range, speed, run time, and fast charging. Also appreciate that it lets you know when the battery is low so you don’t have to go save it. This little boat is fast! But, it also has the ability to reduce speed, so kids can use as well. Much faster than i expected. Battery last around 20 minutes on full speed, longer on lower speeds. Birthday gift for grandson ,this boat is super fast, he has only had it for a day at this point, still learning to use it ,but so far so good, seems like a lot of fun, the battery seems to last ,it comes with 2 batteries so you have a spare you can switch to when one goes down. I bought two of these boats for my two grandsons who are age 4 and six. They worked great, and they were easy for them to use. The battery life wasn’t as long as I expected but thank goodness for the blinking light to let them know I am very happy with these boats.
