My only complaint is with the seat, while the back does recline, the seat is stationary and tends to force the you forward and it takes time to get used to. This is an all-around nice chair but it seems to be missing that special touch and attention to detail to put it over the top. First off, its strange for the shipment to not include instructions. The chair was relatively easy to put together, but once it was together, I am not sure I did it right. The chair is not very comfortable to sit in. The chair tilts a tiny bit forward and if you want it to tilt back a bit, there is a lever for that but the lock settings are not fine-tuned. It's either tilting forward or too far back. If you are at least 6 feet in height, the piston is too short for you. I want to like the chair, but it's not even a 2-hour chair. ... show more

    • Terrible Customer Service from Zuri Reps-Buyer BEWARE!!!!

So I bought this chair over the GM Enklave which I loved. Had I know what I would encounter with Zuri, I would have changed my mind and went with GM. Here is why. GM offers an extended warranty that is awesome. If you buy from Zuri here on Amazon, guess what, they will not offer you such a warranty when they can if they wanted to. They simply say, "too bad." For this expensive of a chair that is BS. Amazon is no help either, as they send you back to them and they send you back to Amazon. Also, Zuri claims you can send the chair back, BUT, at your cost! GM, no problems with return, simple and easy for the customer. It is sad that CSR is so lacking with these greedy companies these days. I will NEVER buy from these guys again. ... show more

I love this chair!! It looks awesome and is very comfortable. Materials are good quality and I am very happy with the red color. Assembly was easy although I couldn't fine the instructions at first, look inside all the parts bags. The only thing I could ding them on was the casters. They are fine for a chair at this price point but I prefer the higher quality roller blade stile. They are available here on Amazon for about $35 and this chair uses the standard push in style. ... show more

We absolutely loved the chairs. They were streamlined and sexy. The back was perfectly comfortable. The seat however was not as supportive as what we need for 10-12 hour days in the office. Sadly we had to return them. I would highly recommend them though for a home office or for a shorter work day.

High quality parts and well built (cast and polished steel) components. Chair is comfortable for all day use, though there is some trade-off between the fantastic form and it's function. It's not on par with a well designed ergonomic chair, but much better than any chair from an office supply store. For reference, I'm 6' and 190lb and sit in this chair 6-8 hours per day. I replaced the wheels with high quality (roller-blade style) chair wheels that I purchased separately, which makes a big difference to the 'rollability'. ... show more

First of all, the only reason I bought this Zuri chair was because it clearly stated "genuine leather." I would have bought a La-Z-Boy but all their chairs are constructed from "bonded leather" these days. I prefer genuine leather for durability and feel. This chair is made of FAKE LEATHER, i.e. leatherette, all around. The instruction for set-up wasn't clear, in specifying the orientation. The cushion is rather stiff. Importantly, it is made of FAKE LEATHER. Nowhere on the chair could I find a tag that states "genuine leather" like all leather products you purchase. The texture and pattern of the cover materials look exactly the same front to back and exactly like FAKE LEATHER. I own many leather products (furnitures, jackets/coats, purses/wallets, belts) and I know this chair IS NOT GENUINE LEATHER. When contacting the Zuri, I specifically requested proof that it's genuine leather, multiple times. The response was always "it's genuine leather" ... "it's genuine leather" without furnishing any proof. Wow, it's like talking to a 4-year-old child with magical thinking. Online commerce is based on trust, as you can't examine the product or talk to a real person before purchase. I will strongly recommend everyone to not purchase Zuri products.
