This was recommended to me by a fellow business owner and I'm really glad I didn't let the cheap price dissuade me from purchasing. This system packs a nice punch for how little it costs! Set up/installation was relatively easy and its pretty much user friendly. I'm still playing around with the different settings, but overall I'm really happy with the whole system. I did have one faulty camera out of the 8. The picture was extremely dim and distorted. I emailed the company and dealt with Coco who was beyond helpful! Anyway, have a new camera on its way! She immediately offered the replacement even before completely running through ways to possibly fix the faulty one. The night vision is rather good as well. We only have ambient lighting in 2 areas with the exit signs, but the camera produced lighting is plenty adequate to see. Our store is small, but even the camera at the far end of the hall is light enough for me to see all the way to the end. Actually all the features work really well, including zoom and motion detection. I'm still learning the app and hoping that I can figure out how to set alerts to it only during specific times (when the store is closed), but overall its not hard to figure out. Speaking of figuring it out. Here is my only complaint. The instruction manual. Yeah, let me just tell you to get your fingers limber because you're going to be googling a lot to find out how to basically everything. The manual pretty much is useless, but there was lots available, including several videos, so it wasn't really that big of a deal. I definitely recommend this product and am now thinking I should get a 4 camera system for my home. ... show more

I only say I have not decided yet, because I am still testing them out. But so far, this is a very nice package for the money. They are easy to install, and the picture quality is decent. Its not 4k, but it doesnt advertise that, it is 1080. I was bummed about the cams not having audio capabilities though. I thought they would have sound in/out. If I were to put a system in my home, I would want to hear AND be able to talk to wherever the cams are located. I put this up at a business, and would have liked to have at least ONE cam with audio in/out for the front desk area. Another thing, I wish they would have included some BNC adapters like most other wiring packages come with. But anyway, as stated, for the cost, its not bad. I would get one for my house, if it had audio in/out like I said. But I will keep looking. UPDATE : As of May 20th, 2024, I have been running this system in our business for sevearl months now. When it is up and running, it is pretty good. However, with that being said, it has frozen up on me a few times, and it has went OFFLINE for no apparent reason, meaning I can NOT watch the cameras remotely and have to wait until Im physically back in front of the DVR to unplug it and "reset" it. (no reset button or remote). In order for me to get the wifi back ONLINE, I have to go into the system menu after resetting it and run the TEST. It does not auto reconnect. I have sent an email to tech support. I will wait to see what happens. But this does me no good if it isnt reliably going to monitor the business. ... show more

Jar answered any questions I had with quick response. I installed this Zosi 16 camera system to replace my old outdated "Other Brand" 8 camera system and this new Zosi system does everything I need. I can play back what was recorded, I can zoom in and redirect the view. Excellent system.

Installed a system at my Brother's house....no problems. Installed a system at my church building....no problem. Installed a system at my home....worked fine for two months, then the Montana winter hits. Half of the cameras went dark. Reset cameras, but by the end of the day, dark again.....Installed updates, didn't help. Several emails with Zosi Support led to replacing the system. Sugar was very helpful in getting this taken care of, although it did take quite a bit of time. New system has been installed.....so far so good. ... show more

I knew I was getting an affordable system from the start and I was fine with that. The app is a bit clunky but it does work. The interface could be better with the DVR but it was not that hard to figure out. I was able to block out items like trees so they didn't trigger the motion sensors. The night vision is ok but worked better after I supplemented the cameras with some IR flood lights. I had one camera cut out and stop working but Slina from customer service was very helpful with a few troubleshooting tasks and a quick replacement of the bad camera. Also, I was fooled by the "incorrect password" message also, the trick is there is no password unless you set one. I also taped all of the connectors and have had zero connection issues. For the price, I'm happy with my system. I can run the operating system and control my settings, I can find and playback recorded footage, I can see what I want to see both day and night and if there are any problems I know whom to call and that they will help me fix the system and replace anything that's needed. ... show more
