During the evaluation process to find out if my existing surveillance camera system compatible with Zosi’s DVR and cameras, Zosi’s customer service rep. Slina provided excellent service to me during the decision making process in selecting a new surveillance camera system. I had quite a few technical questions and Slina helped answer my questions. After learning more of my needs, Slina helped make a recommendation on the Zosi product. During the installation process, one camera screw was lost which is a rare type that I could not find in the U.S. major hardware stores. I asked Slina if I could buy some extra screws from Zosi. She immediately worked with their operations team and sent several screws to me free of charge. I truly appreciate her valued assistance throughout the process. Love my zosi camera system. Works great just as advertised. Easy install. Be sure to get the hard drive as well. Motion detection works great, as well the night vision. The pic is a screen shot using a phone taking a pic of my tv/monitor. This is very late at night using the night vision. Good quality and picture even with little to no light conditions. I would highly recommend this camera system. *note no animals were harmed* just amazed to see a deer rite in my front yard by the car. This product fails. After a year and a half, the power supply failed. I had to pay to replace it. After another year and a half the second power supply failed. After replacing it the DVR would not come on. I was instructed by ZOSI Support to upgrade my bios which I did. That did not fix the issue. I was instructed to unplug the hard drive and try to boot it which did not work. I was instructed to upgrade the bios with the hard drive disconnected, which I did and it still did not work. After a week of emails with support they finally determined that the DVR is not working. I was informed that their warranty was two years and if my device was out of warranty that I would be responsible for shipping it back to them and repairs. I was informed it probably would be cheaper to purchase a newer device and they offered a 10% discount. Honestly, why would I buy another product from them if their device does not last more than 3 years. These devices are important in maintaining security for your home or business. Do not purchase this product since you are going to have to replace it sooner than later. To be transparent after the second power supply was obtained the DVR would not go past the system initializing screen. When I was upgrading, the screen did indicate that it was upgrading then go to the system initializing screen and freeze. ... show more

I got this to deal with a stalker issue. The DVR and Camera's work excellent. The app and connectivity to it is aweful. Costumers service, going through Zosi offical site or attached to this product absolutely will drive you mad. First you will be asked more then ten times is your firewall off. Is DHCP on/ Enabled. Is UNPN enabled. Is your router hooked up to the device. Did you hit Obtain I. P and see OK. Does the device show yoyr connected. (What they dont ask you twenty plus times.) No one mentions port forwarding. No one asks about unplugging or replugging in your hard disk. Are you using a switch. Did you try setting up the Wifi in the unit. Long Story short it should be easy plugg and play. It should be an amazing value for the money. And it is ... Just expect the App and connection to said App to be a major pain in your ass. Also do not contact costumer service/Tech support. Unless you want to be asked the same questions multiple times even if you show screen shots demobstrating your speaking the truth. I.E shot of your main screen showing Ok youve aquired an I.P. Showing your device says Connected. Showibg your app says cant connecte to device Or failure to connect. Picture of both your router and system Eithernet cable blinking/ receiving and sending signal. Just be warned im bot saying dont buy this im just saying pain in the ass if you want remote viewing.
