I’ve had this system installed 4 months now. Overall, the quality and performance of this system is what one should expect for the price. This is not a high-end system that lets you zoom in and read a license plate 50’ away. Go buy a system that costs 5 times as much if that is what you want. The video is HD but also compressed. It looks good for general surveillance of your property. Buy something more robust if you need to do more than that. For what it costs, this system is pretty good. Sure, the cable is thin, but so what? It is acceptable for 100’ runs, easy to work with, light weight, and didn’t break while installing it, so it’s fine for the job. The dome cameras are plastic, however the bullet cameras are metal. Both work fine but I would probably buy the all bullet system over this one had I known the dome cameras were plastic. The DVR has worked flawlessly so far. The phone app is acceptable, but not the most user friendly. It can be a bit slow to load sometimes but once the connection is going, switching between cameras is pretty fast. The motion detection is pretty useless for notifications of anything important because it is too sensitive and the sensitivity adjustment barely makes a difference. Unfortunately, it does not have person detection capability. So, I keep notifications turned off as I don’t care to be notified when a bird flies by. I had one camera stop working after 3 months… it just went dead. I contacted customer service and received a response from Aimee the same day. After sending some photos showing the camera was dead and explaining the troubleshooting I had tried, Aimee authorized a return of the camera and sent a shipping label. Within a week they had receive the camera, verified it didn’t work, and sent out a replacement, which arrive a couple of days later. I did not have to pay for anything. Aimee kept me informed throughout the whole process and was a pleasure to work with. ZOSI’s customer support is top notch. If more cameras die I may have to change my rating but for now I’m quite satisfied. ... show more

... that is until I received these. I worked Retail Security for over 12 years, and even the most basic CCTV Cameras have been color for the last few decades. I can't begin to comprehend why these are even available to purchase these days. Decent price? Sure. Of any use if someone kicks in your door? Nope. Let's role play, shall we? Police: What color shirt was the suspect wearing? You: I don't know. Police: What color was the vehicle they got in to? You: I don't know. Police: Dispatch said you had everything on camera, can you review video to check? You: No. Police: Why not? You: I didn't listen to that one guy's review on Amazon and bought Zosi's B&W CCTV Cameras in 2021. That's not to say that these wouldn't be fantastic for some things. I could see these cameras being extremely useful for remaking your own version of Perry Mason or Dragnet. They might make some good footage for your home edited episode of Car 54, Where Are You?. If that's your thing then by all means feel free to ignore my review and be as creative as you can be. If you'd like a Security Camera that will provide some semblance of evidence in the event of something unfavorable happening in their presence, I'd look elsewhere. Cameras have good day and night resolution for the money. The OS is simple to navigate and use. Even after adjusting over and over I still received notifications constantly that motion was detected. That gets annoying really quick. This is a pretty good entry level system if you’re on a budget. Update- Now, the rest of the story. Bought this system new back in August of 2023 which was roughly 7 months ago. I had one camera quit working for no reason. Contacted customer service which was helpful overall. However, there’s no way of having a live conversation with a person. There’s no number to call and no chat box online. If you click the chat link it takes you to an email form which they will respond to but it could be 12-24hrs before you hear back and so on during your conversation. After going through all the suggestions to fix the camera a replacement was offered. They then present you with 2 options. Option one, leaving a 5 start review on Amazon, along with sending proof that you did so, in order to have your replacement sent out prior to their receipt of your broken camera being returned. Option two, don’t leave the review, send the camera back, then they’ll send out your replacement. I don’t like the idea of having an area uncovered by camera for any longer than I have to. So naturally you do the review to expedite the process. Well, I did that and still waited 5 days for them to ship out my replacement and email me a return label for the bad camera. So today I’m updating my review from a 5 start that I was coerced into leaving to a 3 star that seems more accurate. They’re not a horrible company but I expect more lifespan from a set of cameras costing $600. ... show more
