During the evaluation process to find out if my existing surveillance camera system compatible with Zosi’s DVR and cameras, Zosi’s customer service rep. Slina provided excellent service to me during the decision making process in selecting a new surveillance camera system. I had quite a few technical questions and Slina helped answer my questions. After learning more of my needs, Slina helped make a recommendation on the Zosi product. During the installation process, one camera screw was lost which is a rare type that I could not find in the U.S. major hardware stores. I asked Slina if I could buy some extra screws from Zosi. She immediately worked with their operations team and sent several screws to me free of charge. I truly appreciate her valued assistance throughout the process. The original DVR system we received would restart frequently and after talking to customer service they replaced it. The replacement DVR system has been working fine. There was zero hassle, their rep Slina was in contact with us through the entire process and made it right. Well done Slina and the rest of your customer service team. Besides that (sometimes things happen) the cameras have been worth their money. They work as you expect, the night vision is pretty good(better than expected), the DVR user interface is basic, not fancy but it works fine. The ability to look at 16 cameras, day or night, will put you at ease. If you hear something in the middle of the night, its a fast way to see everything from the safety of your screen. I really do rely on that ability. Wiring 16 cameras can be a challenge, especially when some are 150ft long. Go slow, have patience. We ordered one extra set of x4, 150ft cable , it also comes with x4 100ft cable and x12 60ft cable (for 16 cameras). There are x4 connectors for joining cables to make them longer. That was the right amount of cable for us with a quarter acre of land (couple cabins in a rural area). I would buy this again, even with exchanging the DVR. ... show more

    • Defective - Doesn't work for very long

Disappointed with both the DVR and cameras. The 1st row of the DVR stopped working for no apparent reason. I couldn't view any cameras in the 1 through 4 slots; only 5 through 16 ports would work. Then half of the cameras stopped working. They would receive power but there was no picture - just a black screen. I kept buying individual cameras and replacing them, but they all failed eventually. Really disappointed on how defective these products are, especially since the quality of the images was so high when I first installed them. I was initially very happy with the resolution and the night vision. But after having to replace the entire system, I realize this was a waste of money. ... show more

The customer service team Matt, echo and others are absolutely sensational on helping with any problems u may encounter with any of the product they carry...I myself have 2 8 ch 3k dvr systems and encountered a data problem and and the team spent countless nights helping me figure the problem out till it was resolved and I'm very thankful for that and them and they strive to make the products a better more affordable alternative system then the over priced security systems companies... very exceptional team they have with this company...tt ... show more

I REGRET THE DAY I FOUND ZOSI PRODUCTS AND YOU WILL TOO . THESE PRODUCTS WILL RUIN YOU LIFE BECAUSE THEY ARE SO POORLY MADE ...YOU WILL THINK YOU HAVE A SECURITY SYSTEM TO RELY ON BUT YOU DONT....TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.2 cameras didnt work 1 wire was faulty Email alerts do not work on the platform and the the zosi teck support told me this Also you can only get push notifications to one phone one account also confirmed by zosi tech chat .This product is terrible. customer service nearly does not exist, its through email and they tell you how to trouble shoot it, even tell you to take dvr apart and unplug things to try and figure out why its not working properly. Dvr resets on its own constantly and when it does you cant reset or do anything from the mobile app, must use mouse to get it going again. Ive had several other systems that are way easier to use. I have only had it for just over two months and unfortunately was out of town for a month right after the purchase and could not see my house the whole trip, been fighting with trying to get the unit working every since I returned, still not. my return window is closed and customer service has not contacted me back over my problem. really regret this purchase and all the other things I bought to try and make it work right. The app on my phone is not very responsive. they did send me a new dvr and it seems to be working much better, the app is still very slow at loading the videos. ... show more
