Gift for my grandson. I was later informed that nine year olds have pitch limits for health reasons. So much for grandpa’s not knowing much. Pretty sure we had the same arms a half century ago. Sore arm? Shake it off! No taking a week off. Ice it. Go back to pitching hay bales for 12 hours. As for the product, it uses a braided nylon cord, and grommets to fasten target to the frame. fell apart only after a couple of uses. i would not recommend this product for anyone over 8 years old. the material is very weak and cannot hold up to faster pitches.

OK baseball dads - training your young boys to pitch better, that’s me too. It works … but it’s not going last a long time - it’s not heavy so you can move it quick to the ballpark and take legs off fast. If you don’t anchor it and you hit it with a 35 mph pitch it will move - finding dirt you can anchor permanently will be tough and if you peace it outside in the rain / sun it will fall apart fast - everything top to bottom is cheaply made. It’s overpriced for the quality but for now it meets MY needs. My boy needs a target and he learned quick it’s not as easy as it looks. - hope this helps - I’ll get the heavier version later down the road you see at HS and college fields. The quality is poor. Bought this for my 8 year old and it did not last. It was only used a couple of times. Wish I would have returned right away as the reviews were not good and it did not appear to be made well.
