Features

  • Deep Cycle Battery: CHINS LiFePO4 battery provides 2000+ cycles compared to 300~500 cycles in lead acid battery. The service life of LiFePO4 batteries is 8 to 10 times than the standard lead-acid batteries. The weight of the lithium iron phosphate battery is 30% lighter than the lead-acid battery of the same capacity. Brand: CHINS, Size: 20.47 x 10.59 x 8.66 inches, Color: Black, Orange.
  • Capacity Expansion: CHINS 48V 100AH LiFePO4 Battery does not support series connection, otherwise the battery will definitely suffer irreversible damage. Connection in parallel: it can connect multiple batteries, suggest no more than 8pcs in parallel. Allow to be extended up to 8 in parallel to get more capacity (Max 800Ah). Note: 48V 100Ah LiFePO4 Battery, support the peak current of the golf cart controller no more than 500A.
  • Built-In BMS & Convenience & Maintenance Free: CHINS LiFePO4 battery has built-in BMS (Battery Management System) to protect it from overcharge, over-discharge, over-current, and short circuit with excellent self-discharge rate. Built-in high temp cut off prevents charging over 122 F (50 C). Plus, Li-Ion batteries can be safer than Lead Acid batteries, which have no protection against ground faults. This product fits for outdoor camping power and indoor easy installation.
  • Bluetooth function: Compared with the traditional battery monitor, CHINS lithium battery has added Bluetooth function and can obtain various data (SOC) of the lithium iron phosphate battery. Customers can connect to the battery through the mobile phone APP, and read the battery voltage, current, battery capacity and other important information at any time. Wireless connection range: within 5-10 meters from the battery.
  • Widely Used: CHINS lithium iron phosphate battery can be used in the following areas: Home energy storage system, UPS backup, lighting, digital/CCTV cameras, portable TV, e-Robot, electric vehicles, DIY loud speaker, 12V router, air pump, fish finder, golf cart, trolling motor, motorhome/RV & camper, Houseboat, Travel Trailer, Dump Trailer and more. When the batteries are used in parallel, the battery voltage and capacity must be the same, and purchased in near time(within 6 month).

  • Very happy, 48V 2004 Club Car Precedent
Style: Bluetooth 48V 100AH
We bought this in August and I self installed it over the weekend following receipt of the shipment so this review is based on using the this set up for over three months now. We are completely happy, we will never go back to lead acid. We have owned this cart since 2012 and needed to replace our 3rd set of batteries. For roughly the same price as a new set of name brand lead acid batteries, I shed around 255 pounds off the cart and gained likely a minimum of 1600 more charge cycles. In other words, I expect to get 10+ years out of this battery. My range is now around 40 miles with constant uphill and downhill speeds. I am happy to also say the battery allows the speed limiter to regen charge the battery when going downhill. I gained a consistent 1 mph (gps verified) top speed too. The cart still has it's original stock motor and controller but larger diameter rims and tires with a lift kit and rear seat with heavy duty rear springs. With that said, we went from 18 mph (at best with a light load on a long level straight section or downhill) to a constant 19 mph no matter the terrain or load on the cart. Acceleration is noticably better too. It seems reasonable to assume all the measurable and seat of the pants improvements are probably a function of the weight savings and slightly higher, but constant voltage of this set up compared to the old lead acid set up. I did have to move a few things around and make modifications to the battery compartment and electrical harness. Don't let this scare you, even though I am not a trained golf cart mechanic, it was no big deal because I took some time to research what needed to be done. If you are considering this as a DIY project just make sure to take your time to understand what is involved before hand, you don't want to screw anything up or expose yourself to any unnecessary hazards. All the information you will need is available online from a variety of sources. I also added a LiFePO4 specific gauge so we can keep track of accurate state of charge, Amps, and Volts. It updates in real time so we can keep track in use. It is fascinating for me to see the amperage draw while in use. We have been able to learn a lot about the battery draw based on load, terrain and speed. Our cart feels lighter and has considerably more pep than before, the ride and handling are more crisp and the cart is better at carrying passengers. This is what a cart should be like from the factory. Finally, I also added an onboard 15 amp smart charger and routed the cord out to a convenient location for storage during use but also for easily access to plug it in for charging. I spent quite a few months researching battery makers and the set up I wanted to go with. I decided on a single 48V battery from Chins based on quality of materials, construction, and price along with reviews of the company from previous customers. The included Bluetooth software is basically functional, but has a hard time connecting with my phone. I do like the individual cell voltage read out, and the ability to monitor internal temps. It also tells me amp draw or charge along with battery percentage. With all that said, I find it much easier to rely on the above mentioned gauge. It is nice to see a very consistent reading between what the battery is reporting on the Bluetooth app and what the gauge is showing, so I am confident it is accurate. Thank you Chins for making this project possible for us. We are very happy with your product in our application. I plan to update this review occasionally over time. ... show more

  • Solar System Batteries 👍🏻
Style: Bluetooth 48V 100AH
Bought two of these to try out with a new solar inverter setup & ended up adding a third after checking the performance, ensuring they lived up to the hype, etc… These are obviously an affordable option if you’re shopping 48v batteries for your setup, but so far, I haven’t seen a reason not to use these… BMS functions/reads all the cells individually, they easily charge as designed and hold up to their specs, they wire up fairly easily (I used 4/0 cables), and have done a great job giving us power on our ranch. If you’re on the fence, give these a shot. Shipped quickly out of their CA warehouse, they even sent me a message explaining how to set them up and who to contact if you have any issues (I have not had any issues, but I’m sure they are quick to sort you out being that they’re so proactive about it), and I am happy running three of these for our 1k sq ft place. Not a very big house but we also live like we’re on-grid, so there’s a lot to be said for having electricity when you want it. For reference, I’m feeding a 48v SunGoldPower inverter with 8 650watt panels & 3 of these 51.2 v batteries from Chins. I’m in Northern AZ, and 3-4 hrs of sunlight is all I need to keep these topped out at 100%. We run plenty of lights, fans, fridge, microwave, deep freezer, tv, starlink, wireless camera system, etc… On really really cloudy/stormy days these 3 batteries will only run down to about 50% by the time it starts charging again via solar the next morning. That’s a lot of power from only 3 of these batteries, especially when I compare it to my old system that consisted of 48 deep cycle 6v batteries… built a whole shed for that system and I now have a ton of extra room! Watch the videos, read the reviews, etc… these do work, and they work well, but YMMV. ... show more

  • Fantastic upgrade! (Update)
Style: Bluetooth 36V 100AH
Quick update. Had my first cycle on the battery now. Waited til 60%. Lots of different opinions on how to break these batteries in. So I’m keeping to the middle of what I read. Also purchased these from Amazon (added pics yoo). These terminal blocks do a great job. They may seem a little pricey but compared to the investment in a new battery they are worth it. https://a.co/d/0be17ClA My 2006 Ezgo Txt is my little work horse! It is used extensively around our six acre property. Lately I had been getting less and less capacity out of the 6 wet cells. So I started shopping and researching LiFePo 4. I was amazed when my research noted how capable these things are and how little they weigh! Like others have posted. I traded about 360 pounds for about 65! And man does my little cart leap to a start now. Combination of efficiency of the battery and the huge weight reduction! I will update if I run into any issues but for now call me a happy man! The photos are of the new battery installed. Used long metal straps (think giant hose clamp) to secure it. 2 was plenty and I added the furniture slide felt strips to protect the battery cabinet. The other two shots are the BMS. The one at half capacity was when I first fired up. The second is after charging and then putting it through its paces. Best part of my story is that I got this battery on a lightning deal and it was a great bargain. In fact 6 new wet cells would have cost more. I purchased the CHIN 10 amp charger with it. Very pleased with its performance and build quality. Make this move if your old wet cells are dying. You won’t regret it! ... show more
