No real reviews to read, so I took a chance. I placed my key fobs in the pouches and tried to open my car and I could not unlock the door. Opened the pouch and unlocked the door, placed the fob back and closed the pouch, tried to start the car and it said key not found. It's unfortunate that we live in a world where a product like this is necessary to ensure your vehicle remains in your driveway as you sleep, but here we are. The pouches came as described although I thought there would be room for two keys in each pouch, but it's a pretty tight fit. They're a little bulky for just one fob (4 stars) other than that, I'm happy with them and would recommend for bigger key fobs or if your fob is smaller, you might get two. ... show more

In the past ten years there has been a rash of car burglaries all over the country because some people have become too lazy to take their key fobs out of the car. As is with any "industry" those people who would rather rip others off rather than go out and get a job like the rest of us have come up with new and even more intrusive gadgets to help them do so. You can be diligent and do everything you can to protect yourself and still find yourself becoming a victim. Products like this are really your only defense until the problem becomes big enough to force vehicle manufacturers to engineer better protections for the cars and trucks they manufacture. With this package you get two small faraday bags each designed to fit one regular sized key fob. The fob for both my wife's as well as my car fit nicely. You just open up the velcro strip at the top of the bag and place it in. Inside the bag there is a small keychain that you can then attack the fob to so that you can pull it out when you need it and pop it back in when you are finished driving. It's that simple. The design is a shiny black finish with red stitching. The stitching is tight and flawless and it looks good. There is a flap with a small silver colored attachment that allows you to clip the bag to something inside your vehicle should you desire to do so. The advantage of a black bag is that you can hide it in plain sight and a prospective thief won't see it so long as you put it black side up. The description said that there was a double layer inside the pouch but on the ones that I received there was only the one pouch. The description also said that you could fit multiple key fobs inside but the ones that I received could only comfortably fit two of them. Perhaps the description is also used for another larger pouch by the same manufacturer but please note that if you order the two small ones there will only be one protected pouch per bag. I tested both bags in the two cars we have and the signal was blocked in both. There were no problems with it when I opened it partially to start the car. When I placed the fob back in the bag the warning light came on that the fob was not detected. The results were the same on both cars. Is this worth it? Yes. With all today's devices you need to be responsible and to protect yourself from all the criminals out there. Using a signal blocking Faraday device is just a smart move. I updated my insurance information by letting the insurance company know that in addition to my other security measures I am now employing the use of a Faraday bag. Having an active security package gives me a discount on my theft premium and most insurance companies today have similar incentives. If you have this option the Faraday bag will pay for itself. Having a device like this only adds to the confidence that you are doing all you can to protect your vehicle from theft and that is enough for me. I would recommend this to anyone with a keyless starting system in their vehicle. In the end it's worth it. ... show more

I bought these as Christmas gifts after seeing a video about how thieves now have ways of stealing your key fob signal.....what next? At any rate, I have family members who don't use their garages for their cars, and thought this would give them a modicum of safety from car thieves.......at least I hope they work. Really liked the overall design: color/pattern, clip, zip-around closure. I only wish it was a tiny bit wider to also hold a few credit cards. Note that my doors will still unlock with key in box, but car will not crank!
