I was looking for a mattress pad for the IKEA sofa bed we recently bought. Not only for the comfort, but also to protect the cushions. Drawback is that the corner straps don't work because of the way the sofa is made. But it still works for what I was looking for. I would still recommend it.

Apparently, the deep pocket on this mattress pad is not stated. What is stated is the pocket size for the king. My bed is a full size and the pad fit perfectly, but the pockets would not fit my 17" drop. Stretched to the maximum, as you can see, it would have constantly flipped off when any pressure was put on the mattress. In my opinion, maybe it would have fit a 12" deep mattress. The mattress pad however, is a nice one and it fit perfectly across the top of the mattress. One other thing that is not so great is the quality of the drop-down fabric. I wished they would use something a little more sturdier. The elastic would wear out fast if it were constantly stretched like the pictures. Better to go with a larger drop and have more to tuck in underneath the mattress than just the tips of the ends, lol. All-in-all, it is a fabulous buy for the money, if only my mattress and topper weren't so thick (17"). I'm sad cause I was looking forward to snuggling in tonight! Off to find one with more drop and better elastic. Good grief! ... show more
