The finish on this topper feels good. It is a little thin as in not quite enough so I'm going to get a 2" memory foam topper to go underneath. It's lacking a "cushiony" feel to it. The reason I'm not returning it and using it to go on top of a thin piece of memory foam is because it really is "cooling" - it doesn't heat up with my body heat which makes it worth keeping and adding the foam underneath. There is NO smell, the sewing quality is good although I did cut a few hanging strings and it fluffed up just fine. It looks as advertised. ... show more

Sleeping on a crappy twin mattress, from the description I thought this would be perfect to give me added padding and a cooler nights sleep. Well it does provide cooling, definately better then sleeping directly on the mattress. The padding how ever is not thick enough to effect how the crappy mattress below effects my sleep. personally for the price I would buy a 2-4" solid memory foam mattress topper and skip this product all together. It does work really well cooling with the 4" topper I bought, just not worth the money. ... show more
