This was a Prime Day purchase to soften up our mattress a bit and it definitely adds a layer of luxury to a 5-year-old mattress. It puffs up well and adds cushion that makes us want to fall asleep faster, but during the summer months, we have both regularly woken up warm in the middle of the night or find most of the covers off in the morning. It breaths way better than synthetic materials and feel it is a good value for the money. If you are looking for something that will cool the body, this isn't it, you will want something with airflow or a cooling unit.
