This was a hopeful purchase. It looked like a good size, but it also looked unstable. When I received it I set it up immediately. It was a little tricky to figure out at first because I have never had this type of table before. After the second time putting it up I feel like a pro. It's a little wobbly because it is a folding table on an umbrella-style base, but it's still a great little table. This seemed like a nice table and value, claims holds 33lbs, However, after assembly, the expanded legs do not lock I'm anyway & can thus slide up and down even with unrolled top fully attached. I have an engineering/physics degree, I could most likely add hardware to lock 4 sliding leg joints, but not worth it, will return and order one that had many positive reviews for more money. Shame, as I wanted it for tomorrow's Eclipse. ... show more

I bought this table to hold telescope equipment outdoors. What's good: I've used it at its rated capacity (33 lbs.). The load was distributed over much of the surface by a carrying case. It did not collapse, but I suggest that the table needs to be on a flat, level surface. I wouldn't try it with any slope. The rivets and struts holding it together seem adequate. I think the maker would say "optimized for low weight". Nothing appears overbuilt. I didn't have much trouble setting it up, but clearly your skill will improve with practice. The surface size is generous. What's bad: The packing. The bag it comes in is sort of a joke. When collapsed, the top needs something like a bungee cord to hold it together (not provided). Overall, you need a way to hold the collapsed top, the collapsed legs, and two top support bars. The bag keeps all from getting lost or rolling around in the car, but does not serve as a good means to carry around the parts or hold them compact. ... show more

These chairs were purchased for Diner En Blanc, such an amazing events. They are light & sturdy; the perfect combination for the occasion for they had to be carried through town. They also fit right in to the elegance of the night. They did not have to be covered.
