Bought this primarily for hair health and less hair shedding and it definitely works! I’m not use to taking supplements multiple times a day let alone 6 times. Directions says I can take all 6 pills at once but I couldn’t stomach taking more than 2 pills at once as these pills are big (the size of my index finger nail). However, since it works even with taking 2 pills per day, I’ll try taking more in a day soon as the more I get use to taking them. But so far, I been taking 1-2 pills per day once in a day instead of the suggested 6 pills. Been taking them for 2 months and I can say that there is a significant improvement in health of my nails and hair. After the first month of taking them, my nails are whiter, stronger and looking beautifully healthier. My hair definitely grew faster than I normally expect. Not sure it helps with fullness or thickness of my hair. But it definitely does help with hair loss or hair shedding as I notice a significant lesser amount of hair less after washing and brushing my hair. I've been taking it for about 3 to 4 days now. It's showing results pretty quickly. My face feels softer. The only downside is the taste and the number of pills you need to take a day.

My skin and hair were so dull and dry. I have taken a hair skin and nail vitamin religiously my whole adult life but the dry gross Utah winter, dirty inversion air, lack of sunshine, and 50 year old aging hormones had me just blah. I did a lot of research before starting these and had planned to give them a couple months for results but I am literally 5 days in and my hair is shiny and I have this new elasticity and glow to my face that I haven’t seen in the mirror for at least a decade. I’m taking them exactly as directed, 6 a day. They’re easy to swallow and they are coated with no taste. They haven’t hurt my stomach but I always eat a little when I take my vitamins and that might be why. It is tasteless, pills are a bit bigger than usual but easy to swallow and I noticed my a few dark spots on my face started to fade slightly and my hair started growing faster. The skin benefits come in when I take the 6 pills but as of now I take 3 pills once daily.

I've been using this collagen supplement for a few weeks now, and I do notice some improvement in skin elasticity. It's not a miracle worker, but it's definitely helping my skin feel smoother. I do wish it dissolved a little better in liquids, as it tends to leave some residue.

It's probably a little too to tell for sure, but I think these are helping to restore hair growth after temporary loss due to hormonal changes (postpartum, also good for perimenopause). My doc's advice is to take with vitamin C, either as a tablet or in food, for better absorption. Six is a lot of large, expensive vitamins to take in a day, which is the recommended daily dose, but I haven't found a more effective approach. You don't have to take them all at once, but my doc says you need to take them with vitamin C every time for them to do their job. There are lot of peer-reviewed medical studies with strong evidence for collagen promoting hair regrowth after temporary hair loss. (They are not shown to be particularly effective for male-pattern baldness, by contrast.) The liquid form of collagen is known to be much more effective in absorption, but the daily price for liquid forms is so unbelievably high it will break the bank for all but the VERY wealthy if you want to take it regularly for a period of time. This is a more reasonable alternative on the price front. ... show more
