I recommend buying it. It adds to your workout the color is vibrant and it is easy to grip. I use the medicine ball for arms and abdominal workouts. It's nice to add some weight when working out, If your new and just starting out start with a lighter weight and work your way up to a higher weight. I have the 3lb, 5lb, 10lb, and then I bought this 15lb medicine balls.
