The dumbbells seem like quality items ideally suited for home use. The stand had no assembly directions, but was nonetheless easy to figure out and assemble. The only things that we’re not completely satisfied with is that the dumbbells have an oil on them as delivered that is not immediately visible and somewhat difficult to clean off. The other item is that on the stand, there are plastic guides that the dumbbells rest on. These guides are held on by small push in plastic pins. Several were broken off when the stand arrived. The result is that the guide wants to pull off when you grab the dumbbell, and doesn’t always slide back in place when you return it. When the products arrived they came in 2 different boxes, on 2 different days. Each box had a tracking #, so don't be alarmed if u only get 1 box at first. Everything came nicely packaged, no damage to the boxes as well. Upon opening it and inspecting the weights, I did notice a few scratches, nothing major. I also notice there was a sticky film on the weights, maybe it's how it has to be packaged...again not a big issue. There wasn't a strong odor neither. At first, as I was putting the base together I noticed that the bolt n nut didn't exactly "fit"...I started to freak out and said omg they sent me the wrong parts....I went searching online looking at the reviews and some customers said they were given the incorrect Nuts and bolts, leading to the stand being wobbly. So i was like great, I got a bad batch. I'm a single mom and have minimal experience with tools....so I decided to go to a local home depot and I asked for help. It turns out the nuts and bolts were just fine, all I need were 2 items, which can be seen in the 2nd picture. A wrench to hold 1 end stead and the drill to tighten the other end and boom it worked. So no wobbly stand for me.....like othwr customers complained about. I was so happy.... Im pretty sure most of you guys knew that, but for those out there who have minimal tool experience, there's a tip for you 😉. The instructions don't say anything about using tools. It's just a picture and screws,bolts, n nuts...which makes it seem like u can do it by hand, no tools needed. Anywho, the end product turned out great and the dumbell set is awesome. This is a great weight set. And the customer service is fantastic. The company tells you on the listing that due to the weight of the set that it ships in 3 separate packages. As soon as your order is placed the company reaches out to you with updated shipping information for all 3 packages. The first item that arrived for me was the stand. When I went to assemble it there was an issue with the bolts that came with. They were too small. There was also an issue with the little clips that hold the covers on the stand. Some were broken but I think that happened during shipping. I did reach out to the company and they immediately sent a replacement. The next package I received was the first set of weights, the 5s and 15s. Those arrived perfectly. The last package was the remaining weights, the 15s, 25s, and 30s. I had more trouble receiving this package but it was not an issue with the company. It was an issue with FedEx delaying my package for unknown reasons. But I reached out to the company again and once again the customer service was absolutely fantastic. I will definitely purchase from them again because I am very satisfied with my purchase but just knowing that they have customer service that is so helpful and resolves all issues immediately is really the best part. ... show more

First off, I appreciate the proactive help from the company that ships these weights and stand. They clearly communicate via email after you order to expect three shipments. When my third (and heaviest) shipment went MIA, thanks FedEx, the company was very communicative and helpful in sending a replacement package. It took a minute, but everything arrived. Some of the plastic bits that are used to assemble the stand where the weights are stored arrived damaged 😩but it really wasn't that big of a deal. The stand works. It's sturdy. The weights are heavy. They do kind of stink for a week or more after unpacking (strong plastic, rubber, petroleum odor) but it wanes. Overall, not bad and they do the trick. ... show more

This is a great set of weights and value price wise the best you’ll find. Just temper expectations for how long it might take to come. The biggest complaint others had was the fact that it didn’t all come at once immediately. If you read the listing it says it won’t. Let me set expectations for you: You order a full set of weights in pairs of 5, 10, 15, 20, & 25 lbs, they ship them in 3 shipments so you don’t have to lift a box that’s 150lbs. It can take some time. In my case the Mail carrier screwed it up and one package was held for a few weeks and when I investigated they said it was lost and I should leave them alone and bother the seller/shipper. I went back to Amazon and the seller who had provided me immediate feedback previously as well as tracking numbers again showed great customer support. Within an hour they responded saying they will send a new shipment here’s tracking info be in the look out. My shipments came within a week and all was resolved I have my full set. Moral of the story this may take some time but the seller is fantastic and will respond and help quickly and efficiently where they can, don’t whine just moderate expectations. For the product itself these are great solid weights exactly as described. The rack they include is easy to assemble and the weights are high quality. There is upon unboxing a stronger rubber smell because it’s a new rubber product but I used Clorox wipes to give them a once over and in a week or 2 the smell disappeared. The dumbbells are fine, but the weight rack fasteners (nylon nuts) were the wrong size. I had to go to the hardware store pick-up the correct size nylon nuts.
