    • Fast, Organized and Great Quality!
I’m thrilled with my purchase of this weight set. I ordered it on Sunday evening, May 23rd. It said estimated arrival was June 3 - June 9th. It arrived yesterday afternoon; Tuesday May 25th. I was shocked it came so fast. All packages were delivered together. There were 5 total boxes, 1 being the bar and clips, the other 4 were the weights. The boxes were sorted as 2x45s, 2x35s, 2x25s, and then the last one had 2x2.5s, 4x5s and 2x10s. Each weight was wrapped in plastic, put inside a box and each box had 2 bands around it as well. The boxes were clearly labeled and showed which box they were, out of 5. Very organized. The quality of the weights is way better than I expected. They look like something you would use at a professional gym. One plate had the slightest chip on the inside lip but it’s not noticeable unless you really inspect them. Some people may not even notice the damage because of how minimal it is. The damage isn’t greater than any imperfections caused by regular use. The heaviest box is the 1 with the 2x45s in it so if you have to carry them into a basement it’s a little bit of a hassle, however, I was already expecting heavy boxes so it was definitely manageable and easy enough to carry to my basement. Honestly, I think they did a good job separating all the weights into smaller, more manageable boxes. Overall, I’m very happy and excited about this weight set. I can’t wait to use it. I’ve been looking around at weights for a while and saw this set. I was hesitant at first but read the reviews and saw a lot of awesome reviews so I bought it.     • I would order again in a heartbeat great great customer service!
Had an issue with the tracking number, my package said delivered when no package was delivered, and customer service answered in a matter of hours. They gave me an accurate date my package would arrive and gave me a number to call them directly if it didn’t arrive. The weights came the day they said they would and they are very good for the price! I searched up many weight sets and this one was affordable and great quality.     • Good stuff for home gym
I needed a bar and plates for my home gym and this set worked great. The seller was easy to deal with despite a tracking snafu. I'd buy from them again. The set is nice, the bar is straight and the plates all add up. It's nice to have 35 lb plates.

    • Completely different item
Do not purchase. I did not receive the fitness gear set as advertised. We received a CAP barbell set that is currently being sold for $250. It came with a piece broken and we didn’t even receive the clips, one of the plates had a typo!! I contacted the seller to return and they gave me a generic return label that was not pre-paid. It was impossible to get confirmation that i would be reimbursed cost of shipping as determined by the Amazon A to Z claim i qualified for. I was not going to risk another $800 to ship, so i kept it. Now they did replace the broken plate and sent out clips but the plate doesn’t match the set. The bar is ok, but it scratches easy so it doesn’t look nice and the inner piece slides out of the side.     • A mixed bag, but good customer service
Ok this is a mixed bag review. First, these are CAP weights and not fitness gear. The seller needs to adjust the title and image. The casting is...poor, but you get what you pay for. If you don't want to spend a grand on a 300lb set this will totally get you started. They are a little rough and some of the casting has sharp edges. The coating is poor as well. So why am I giving this 3 stars? Honestly, I think what you get is about $300-400 less than most other retailers so the quality, in my humble opinion, is what you should expect. They are weights, they fit on a standard 2" olympic bar, and you may have to file a few edges so know what you are getting into. The bar that comes is painted black, the knurling sucks, but unless you are going to the olympic games and need to start somewhere in your garage or basement this totally does the job. Customer service is top notch. I was missing my 2.5 lb plates and they were fully refunded without an issue and I was able to buy replacements. I bought these a month ago and am very happy with them as they allow me to do a lot at home. I may plan to upgrade at one point and even then, the weights will still have use to me. ... show more

The bar and weights are high quality. The bar is a tad bit slick on your hands but it's no different than any other bar I've used. It is advertised that it's 300 lb of weight that is being purchased but that's not the case. It's a bit less than that but still more than I need.
