I own two of these, one on my Olympic straight bar and the other for my curling bar and boy let me tell You my plates stay on right, they do not slip or move around. Very very very good quality, easy to lock and unlock and they look super good. I had the clamps before that you had to squeeze and I upgraded from those to these and I’ll never go back to clamp style locks again. ... show more

I've owned these clips for over a year now and find them to be perfect for my home gym use. I have a 7' olympic barbell and an EZ-curl bar. I use these clamps regularly (4-6 times a week) with all of my free weight exercises. I love that they are quick to put on and take off. More importantly, they fit snugly to both bars and hold the plates in place regardless of the activity. In fact, I had to stand the EZ curl bar in a vertical position with 35lbs loaded on both ends during a move (3-10's and a 5 on each side). Yes, it was a gamble and not smart, but the clamps held. I don't know how they would be for commercial use, but I find them perfect for my home gym. We'll see if they stand the test of time, but so far I've put them through over 200 workouts with no issues. Overall, I found this to be a successful purchase...WAY better than the spring coil clamps I previously had. ... show more
