This is a great Barbell for the price. You aren't buying a Rogue barbell or anything like that, so don't expect that level of a barbell, but you also aren't paying those high prices. For the normal at home gym doing less than 1000 lb lifts, this is totally sufficient, and for the prices, it can't be beat. Excellent barbell. Has ridges on the plate loader to hold the weights in place better if you don't use clips (or even if you do). It does make a lot of noise when loading the weights though. The weight is 35 pounds rather than the usual 45 pounds. In a way this was good for me cause this is my first time and wanted to make sure I will be able to use it well enough.
