They weigh 25 lbs and have the "spokes" for easy grabbing. The price is right and there is often sales pricing. I determined I needed 4 of the 25s to make a set of 245 which is the most I think my rack can safely handle when lifting by myself.

Admittedly I'm not using this as intended. I had a no-parking sign in a parking spot and the wind kept blowing it over. Figured out that I could get a weight lifting weight and after removing the original base onto the sign slipped this on. Reattached original base. Problem solved. The sign no longer blows over. Had a couple of months outdoor use and no signs of rust yet. Sign survived a 70mph windstorm without falling over so this extra weight is sufficient. ... show more

I ordered some 10-pounders, which were pretty good; they only had minor chips here and there. Otherwise, they were of excellent quality, and I was pleased with my purchase. Unfortunately, I decided to buy some 2.5lb and 5lb plates. The 2.5lb are pretty good, but the 5lb plates are sharp, bumpy, and scuffed up. The product would be five stars in my book if not for the lousy quality 5lb plates. Edit: After speaking to the seller I'm changing my review to 5 stars.
