  • Very easy to assemble
Style: FB350
1st update: 8.2.2024 Let me clarify a few things. We live in a small house and I wanted a bike that wasn't huge and folding was a plus. I got this bike because I need to walk 20 minutes 3 times a day every other day because of venous insufficiency in my legs. It's miserable to walk outside, especially in compression socks, because we live in South Texas where summer is 8 hot and humid months. If you want a bike with all the bells and whistles, buy a $1,000 bike. This is a nice basic affordable stationary bike. What I like: it doesn't take up much space so I haven't had to put it away yet. It's quiet. Very quiet. The display panel is basic with time, distance, calories and it does not have backlight (not a showstopper for me). The bike has a back rest and handholds on both sides of the seat (both are mandatory for me). The seat is as comfortable as you can get with most bikes. The distance to reach the top and lower handholds is good. The challenge for me is my height is 5'1" so I need the seat low. I had a total knee replacement last year so that knee is not as flexible as it used to be and I had to figure out how to safely get up and over the crossbar because of these restrictions. I put a child's non-slip stool near the right pedal (TKR was right knee), hoist myself up and over the crossbar to put my left foot on the left pedal, slide the stool away from the bike to just clear the right pedal, and I ride the bike. Getting off, I repeat the process in reverse order. This is really just a learning curve because it gets easier each time I ride the bike. I took off the remote control/phone holder because I just couldn't easily clear the cross-beam getting on and off the bike. I didn't need it there anyway although I might fabricate something to hold the remote on the top handholds. I am pleased with this purchase. If anything changes, I'll update the review. 07.25.2024 This first part of the review is for assembly only. Another review will be appended to this one after I use the bike for awhile. The instructions were very easy to read and understandable which is a rarity these days. Most of the nuts and bolts were already pre-mounted on the bike which made it very easy to put together. Wrenches and screwdrivers were included. The pictures were accurate with the right numbering. Elapsed assembly time was about 45 minutes including chatting about how easy the bike was to assemble. Bike seems to be well made with high quality steel. Once it's put together it's firm, not wiggly. More to come after I use the bike for awhile. ... show more

  • Silent, easy to assemble, great option for small spaces/apartments
Style: FB150
I’m 5ft1 so keep that in mind, I’ve got short legs. I put this bike together in about 20 minutes, and barely glanced at the instructions more than once. I read others used a YouTube tutorial but I didn’t bother. I looked over the diagram afterwards to make sure I didn’t miss anything, and it was perfect. This thing is ridiculously quiet, I’ve owned this same exact model before (just left it for my brother when I moved out of our shared apartment) and this one was, well, the exact same. I put a lot of miles on the old one I had, and it stood the test of time. Hence, deciding to get the same one a second time. The only difference is that now I am pregnant& much heavier than I was before. Before, the seat was perfectly comfortable for very long periods of time. Hours, even. But I could only put 20 minutes on this thing before I really needed to get off and give my behind a rest 🥲 I did the poke test on the cushion& it really is soft& cushy, but it’s my weight that’s hurting my tushy 🤣 I anticipate after a few days of using the bike, I’ll feel more comfortable, and definitely after losing some weight after baby comes soon. I’m still well under the weight limit, but my body is NOT AT ALL used to the weight that’s now added to my frame just in the past few months, so I’m 99% certain that’s the only reason the seat is not comfortable for me. If you’re new to cycling, or you’ve recently added padding to your middle, you might find the same discomfort. But honestly I wouldn’t make that my breaking point. There’s really highly rated cushions on amazon& if you’re looking for a quiet, affordable, small bike, this is going to be the one. Just add a seat cushion to your cart if you think you’ll benefit (~$20 or less) & buy it. Overall, the silence& compactness of the bike are the selling points for me at this price point. It’s gonna get cold soon, plus I’m pregnant like I said so I need low-impact, accessible, safe exercise options. Sometimes I’m up before dawn and want to workout. My NOISY AS HECK treadmill will wake up not only my husband, but everyone in the apartment below us too 😅 BUT… this bike will NOT wake up even someone in the same room, guaranteed. That’s a bit deal for me& will be appreciated once baby is here too. I also set up my adjustable-height desk to go over my handlebars so I can easily work on my laptop. I can thank the small size of the bike for that. I read other reviews that said if you have long legs, then pass on this bike, but I wouldn’t know anything about that. I’ll also say that if you’re shorter than 5ft1, it MIGHT be kinda hard to use. Cuz I’m really feeling like I’m at the lowest comfortable height limit even tho it says 4ft10. Anyway, for $130 it’s really a great option if you’re looking for quiet, compact, ease of assembly, good for shorter/smaller people. I really am glad to have this bike again. ... show more
