I bought this as a gift for my son at Christmas to go with a weight bench. The size was perfect and fit the bar I got him. I was soo happy with the quality of these plates! They look like something you would see at an expensive gym! The paint colors were great and weights were spot on! The plates came individually wrapped for protection and arrived in two boxes. I was wondering how they would arrive (packaging wise) but the way they were packaged were wonderful and easy to wrap! Although this was a heavy item there was not a blemish or scratch on them! The rubber is thick and sturdy and seems like they will last a long time! There was no weird smell. I was looking for something inexpensive; and durable. This seems to be it. One thing I didn't like was that every weight is the same size height wise. the 10's, 25's, 35's, 45's they are all the same height just different thickness. These bumper plates aren't the best bumper plates on the market but they are by far the best bumper plates at this price point. I own a full set of Rogue bumper plates as well and while they are nice they aren't better by enough of a margin to justify the increased price. These are great, they have bounce to them and they are durable and perhaps most importantly they can be had at near $1/lb. ... show more
