If you don’t need the feature of folding flat against the cab, this is a perfect cover for $400 less than those with that feature. Even if I need the full bed, it’s two screws to take this off. Install is a breeze and takes roughly 30 minutes. Most of that was lining up the cover just right so that it would seal the tailgate but also let it open freely. One tip: don’t install the screws holding the cover to the rails until you get it all aligned. Most complaints here regarding install have been addressed (at least for my Ram 1500): -the side rails can’t be confused one side for the other, the drainage tubes only go into one side on each making it obvious which is which -the screws that hold the cover to the rails are easy to hand tighten and have a secondary wing nut to prevent loosening Overall it looks nearly identical to the top end ones, it just folds one less time. Looks good, just that rubber sides were kinda worn, as you can see in the pictures, the folder area came worn. Other than that, it was easy to install, it can be done by yourself but if you have a helping hand by you, I suggest taking it, it’ll make it easier! I think the price is too high for what it actually is, but very nice to have on your RAM. EDIT: I purchased this item on February of this year (2021) and already started to rust, it has had this rust for about a month but today it actually broke. What a waste of money honestly. I'll see if I have some sort of warranty. ... show more

I had a Bak-Flip cover on my old truck but those things are over a thousand dollars now. This cover is a worthy competitor, constructed similarly, and about two thirds the price. A couple of gripes though. I wish the manufacturers would anodize the aluminum brackets instead of leaving them the raw aluminum color. I rattle can painted mine so that they wouldn’t be so evident. And even though my cover was for the short box and came with four clamps to secure the rails to the box, I would feel better having three brackets per side. The brackets are the things holding everything down on the bed. It is important that the bracket with the thru-hole for the bolt securing the top be located as close as possible to the bracket that holds the rail to the box side. There are two straps with carabiner clips that you are supposed to attach the front brackets. Not a bad idea but to take it one step further I’ll run a couple of lines to the built in hold down rings at the front of the box, you can’t be to careful. Also the instructions could be a little more detailed. Clearly English is a second language….see photo. All in all the cover went on easily, looks good, and appears well made. ... show more

This was an easy installation- it dripped water after the first rain but the seller refunded $150 and gave guidance on how/where to apply silicon to fix the problem. I applied said silicone and it temporarily resolved the leaking but that only worked for about 6 months. The panel nearest to the cab began bubbling on it’s finish about 12 months after installation and now it has begun to crack and ooze rusty water from the top and bottom of the panel. I am in the process of trying to contact their customer service to see if they will honor the five year warranty and will add an update once I hear something back. All in all, it’s about half the price of the leading brands so it might just be a “you get what you pay for” lesson. Hopefully they send a replacement and it’s better than the first one. On the seller’s Amazon page, the contact us section doesn’t have an email or message option- only a phone number. ... show more

Amazing product for the price. Highly recommended. Looks amazing on my Ram Rebel. However the instructions were kind of useless. Some of the parts/items in the instructions were different than the ones that came with the cover. Might’ve been an older model. But you can use it as a guide because the install is pretty much common sense. Took about 30 min to install after leaving the instructions alone. Yes there’s a video on YouTube but seems to be an older model to match the instructions sheet. Great product though. Plenty of compliments. ... show more
