If you don’t need the feature of folding flat against the cab, this is a perfect cover for $400 less than those with that feature. Even if I need the full bed, it’s two screws to take this off. Install is a breeze and takes roughly 30 minutes. Most of that was lining up the cover just right so that it would seal the tailgate but also let it open freely. One tip: don’t install the screws holding the cover to the rails until you get it all aligned. Most complaints here regarding install have been addressed (at least for my Ram 1500): -the side rails can’t be confused one side for the other, the drainage tubes only go into one side on each making it obvious which is which -the screws that hold the cover to the rails are easy to hand tighten and have a secondary wing nut to prevent loosening Overall it looks nearly identical to the top end ones, it just folds one less time. This bed cover arrived on time and as described. Installation was not difficult and I was able to do it by myself in about an hour. Instructions were clear and the cover fits and looks great. My model truck is ‘19 RAM 1500 BIGHORN. So it is the NEW body style. Old body will not work with this particular product. ... show more

Covee has bubbled, rusted and is now leaking. We live in FL where it rains everyday. Im Handicapped abd have to keep my electric power scooter in the bed of the our Ram. So this cover was bought with the intended purpose of keeping the bed dry. For $650 it should do as advertised for longer than 2 + years. Im contacting the company today. If I receive a positive responsive then I will update my review but as of now We are very unhappy. ... show more

Was a bit apprehensive as I have always purchased a bakflip, but really did not want to spend a grand or more. This was hundreds less and was a breeze to install, The finish is not quite a good as the other, but it is nice. Time will tell if it is durable and the finish remains good. Item is sturdy, heavy, not too difficult to install. We'll see how it holds up to the PNW weather though. Install date is 1/13/23 on a 2019 RAM 1500 Crew-cab, short-bed. My only concern is security. It has three panels, the first panel closest to that cab is secured with quick release bolts, third panel is secured by the quick release latch system, but the second panel is not secured to the rail in anyway. With all tightened and the tailgate closed, i did try to pry the second panel open with bare hand and it will not move. It will require tools and a determined person to open it. It would be nice however to have the quick release latch on the second panel as well for extra peace of mind. Overall great purchase. ... show more

This is sturdy and nicer than I thought it would be. Easy install, but I don't like that I can't open by section and the last panel can't be lifted at all.

After a year and a half the section closes to tailgate has rusted through to the point it’s close to breaking off. And customer service will not answer calls and no email addy on the company web page. . EDIT: after asking a question about the warranty in the question section of this ad the seller replied with an email address to send my order info and pics the very next day. . So I sent the info that day, the next day they replied back again and told me that I would receive my new bed cover under warranty by the end of the week. I feel bad for being impatient and bashing the company right off the bat. But I had read other reviews about not being able to file a claim for warranty and jumped the gun. This has been the one of the most hassle free warranty replacements in recent memory. So I felt obligated to edit and update my review and share the facts about x over and the customer service.
